The entrance into the park is lovely. The lake is beautiful. Absolutely no amenities whatsoever so ever . So you either walk , boating, do activities at sunset hall . But like me I don’t care to play Bingo , do crafts, ect .

Very nice quiet park. A little cumbersome to get to but go slow and you'll be fine. It's 10 minutes to get to a highway to get anywhere. The roads in the park itself are teeny tiny. The spaces to park are of mixed review. Our spot, 82, was excellent. Great scenery. Cranes out your window daily. Very clean and well maintained. Communication with the office is touch and go. Probably won't stay here again because of the location mostly.

Since Jan 2022, when the park sold, everything has changed. Management doesn't enforce the rules equally for everyone, and the rules change frequently without notification. The waterfront fishing pier has been underwater for at least a year and has not been repaired. All the wonderful activities they talk about are bingo and pot lucks. No significant improvements have been made, but prices are going up. It seems like the new owner wants us all to leave. Negative management including ordering me to cease putting up my display screen in my yard that was used to celebrate holidays and other special days including displaying my American flag and my father's folded triangular flag in a display case on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Veteran's Day. He was a WWII veteran. And we only put the display up for a few days at a time. 3 days is the usual display time. Done for the 3 day holiday weekend. We were actually asked to do this by the former park owner who built the park.

What a great little community to be found. We booked this campground and later found it it was a 55+ community. After calling they allowed us to proceed with our reservation and we were not disappointed. Very quiet community and a lot of activites to keep you busy. Everyone we met iside the park was nice and polite. Sites for RV's are ok. They could use a good bit of work to level out and make them a bit wider. They were working on that while we were here but still have a lot of work to do. Overall we really enjoyed or stay and will definitly be back.
