Traveled down from Minnesota with my boy for a week of camping. When I booked online I saw a few pics which completely lived up to the actual sites. Brand NEW camping area. The grand opening was two weeks prior to visit over the Independence Day week, 23. Sites are concrete pads and pull through for all trailer sites. FULL HOOK UPS with standard 30amp and 50Amp electric, well placed sewer and water connection as well. Staff would walk the site occasionally and check on you or say hello. I had to have a package sent here and the staff delivered it to my camper for me. Right next to the Green River. They have kayaks and paddle boats but the county was opening the reservoir dam to maintain water levels so the river was running high and fast. The road into camp is gravel still and a steep, but very wide grade. Campground roads are nice new grey gravel. I was at the site 19. Downside is no fire pit at sites but one community one in progress. Actually I didn't care bc A: there were zero Mosquitoes and very few bugs fires kept at bay. B: It's too dang hot down here for a fire anyway. Huge potential for this place to grow and add. Oh, they have very nice cabins on the hill overlooking the campground, 5 of them I think. Greensburg has what you need including affordable COIN laundry within a mile. A decent park with a bike jump track. Small Town camping, big heart southern hospitality. Don't forget to go to LEE'S nearby. Friendly people all around. Happy Camping! Maybe I'll see ya here next year!
Jul 06, 2023 · Andrew TalleyClean and kept, cabins are nice, river access for kayaking. The only dig is that some of the pads are not even close to level.
Dec 08, 2024 · Dale SearleStayed in a cabin. These are new as of June. Our cabin was clean. For $160 and NO TV. Stove, mircowave, but no silverware. They had a couch and one end table and lamp. That's it. It was just my husband and I but again for $160 and no tv or real seating. The front glass was busted. Just not somewhere I would go again. Maybe if you had your own camper. Way overpriced for what you get. Sorry!
Sep 11, 2023 · Debbie LeachCan't believe a empty, off season campsite. Nothing special no amenities. 90.00 a night is absolutely ridiculous.
Nov 12, 2024 · Deborah AlpertWe have been in the cabins for a little over a week and it's absolutely beautiful so quiet at night. Everyone gets along with each other, amazing staff.
