Customer Reviews
This park was a nice find - a pleasant setting on the water where you can watch the freighters go by or catch a few fish from the dock. The waterfront area is for all campers, though some campsites back up to the waterfront area. The park is very peaceful and quiet. Convenient to Detour and the ferry to Drummond Island. We didn't meet the owners, but the camp host was very helpful and we enjoyed meeting and talking with him. We had site #1 which was very private - a back in site with full hook-ups and 30 amp power. But for some reason our surge protector didn't like the power source - it wasn't a problem - we were able to plug into the #2 power post along with the camper in that site.
We just returned from an amazing week stay at Paradise Point and I have to say it is probably in the top 3 favorite campgrounds we have ever stayed at. It is small, quiet and clean and no matter what site you are in you have a gorgeous view. The stars at night were phenomenal. The owners were helpful and kind and really keep the campground in tip top condition. I can't wait to come back sometime in the near future.
We stayed at Paradise Point RV Park for the first time over the 4th of July and will come back. The customer service from Lori "owner" was outstanding from booking to leaving. Plus they're Buckeye fans and that's a huge plus in MI. Our campsite was huge with plenty of room for games, campsite and kayak storage. The water is crystal clear and suggest to go snorkeling. If you want to challenge yourself, take the 4 mile kayak paddle to town. The sunsets were perfect with plenty to do all day. Thank you!
I was a little nervous booking this campground with the website not up and not many pictures posted - but I can tell you it was the best leap of faith! This campground was perfect for us! It was quiet, small (14 sites), spacious sites and the best views you could ask for! They also had a boat launch, new docks and a fish cleaning station. Beyond the amazing location - the owners were very helpful and friendly to work with. And Henry is the absolute best and really helped us out of a jam the day of departure. We will be back, and we can't wait!
From the time we booked our reservation to the time we rolled up to the gate and the owner was standing there to welcome us we felt more like family then guest. The site was amazing, the views were incredible. All I can say is wow. Feel lucky to say we stayed here. The only downside was the day we had to leave. I highly recommend this place to enjoy sites of the beautiful campground
