What a great park... in its day. We loved our 2 week stay at the East Campground. The rustic site #50 was gorgeous, overlooking the lake (that was empty) and the pit toilet was decent. Ron, the host was attentive and wonderful. The park itself has been horribly neglected. I don't believe that the parks will completely recover from these past years of budget reductions and lack of attention.
Jan 10, 2022 · Soot 'n BootsVery nice for rustic camping, we camped in spot #26 and had a nice view of the lake. It's cheap to stay here every spot had a fire pit. It was cooler when we came so the bugs weren't bad but I assume when it's warm the mosquitoes will be really active. The lake is good for Kyaking and lounging. I'm definitely going to come back.
