Promotions or Special Offers

As a professional content writer specializing in local business SEO, it is important to provide factual information. For Forkland Campground, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, specific seasonal or traditional "promotions" like discounts or package deals are not typically advertised in the way a private resort might. Instead, their pricing structure and access passes offer built-in value and convenience.

Based on publicly available information, the standard fees for Forkland Campground are:

  • Daily Rates: Campsite fees generally range from $11.00 to $26.00 per night, depending on the type of site (e.g., sites with 30-amp vs. 50-amp electricity, or gravel vs. concrete pads). The $11 rate typically applies to tent or pop-up sites with 30-amp power and a smaller footprint, while larger RV sites with 50-amp power are closer to $22-$26 per night.
  • America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Series: As a USACE park, Forkland Campground honors federal passes. For instance, the America the Beautiful Annual Pass, Senior Pass, and Access Pass can provide discounts on camping fees (often 50% off the standard campsite fee for the pass holder). This is a significant "special offer" for eligible individuals who frequently use federal recreation areas.
  • Boat Ramp Fees: Registered campers are exempt from the daily boat ramp launching fee ($3.00 per boat per day). This is a direct saving for those bringing watercraft.
  • Corps of Engineers Annual Pass: An annual pass for $30.00 is available, accepted at all Corps of Engineers parks where launching ramps and beach fees are charged. While not a direct camping discount, it offers value for frequent day-use visitors or boaters at USACE sites.

To take full advantage of these benefits and to confirm the most current rates, availability, and specific site details, prospective campers are highly encouraged to contact Forkland Campground directly or visit the official Recreation.gov website for booking. They can confirm which pass applies to their situation and any specific eligibility requirements.

Very pretty, well kept campground. Less crowded than the one in Demopolis, but not a far drive to town. Worth it for the seclusion. Water views are somewhat blocked by trees, but some have steps down to the water. Sites are paved. Bathrooms clean. I highly recommend this campground if visiting Demopolis.

Our best camping trip that wasn't to the Smoky's or the Beach! Nothing negative. The Wheelers were our hosts and they were exceptional. This area of Alabama is historical and full of natural beauty. No traffic! Private! Perfect! Wayne and Anita Lovell, McCalla Alabama.
