Location and Accessibility

Pheasant Acres RV Park is conveniently located at 20279 MO-8 East, St James, MO 65559, USA. This address places it directly on Missouri Highway 8, ensuring excellent visibility and easy navigation for RVers, whether they are passing through or making it a destination. St. James, nestled in Phelps County, is a charming town known for its wineries and proximity to various natural attractions, making it a strategic and desirable location for an RV park.

The park's position on MO-8 East means it's straightforward to access from major routes like I-44, which is approximately 5.5 miles south. This easy on-and-off access from the interstate is a significant advantage for travelers, reducing the stress often associated with navigating large RVs through unfamiliar areas. Despite being near a state highway, reviews emphasize that the park maintains a "quiet" atmosphere, suggesting that road noise is not a significant issue once settled into a site. The manageable drive from population centers in Missouri makes it an ideal spot for locals seeking a quick weekend getaway without extensive travel. Additionally, being in the "Foothills of the Ozarks" means the park offers a scenic backdrop and close proximity to outdoor recreational opportunities, including conservation land. The owner lives on the property, which often contributes to better maintenance and a more personalized experience, and can also provide local insights and directions for area attractions.

Loved it! Very cute park, great price! We arrived late, and the owner came out in the cold and loaned us a very bright flash light to get backed up and plugged in. The sites were very level and easy to get into. The next morning, we used the shower since we were still not fully set up. The bathroom was big, clean and very nice. We, unfortunately, were only there for a short trip, but we would have loved to have stayed longer.
