First trip to quiet acres for my family and new pup. The site we originally got wasn't going to work for us the way our camper is set up and pam was kind enough to let us move to another site. She is very kind and straight forward even making time for our overly talkative youngster lol as she made her morning rounds. The site we ended up with was site 7 wich was perfect. It's on the end where you don't have anyone next to you and you can watch your youngster play at the playground from your site. Only down fall was no wifi for the little one to watch some evening TV before bed but bring a DVD player and you'll be set. This is not a big campground so quiet acres is very fitting. Its nice and dark at night there so its perfect for stargazing with your wife while enjoying a beverage after the kids go to sleep. This is close to home so for a quick weekend get away we will be returning again. We had a wonderful time and everyone we met at the campground was friendly. Very nice little camp. Thanks Pam again for a wonderful experience. You've earned a return customer.
Jun 23, 2025 · Matthew PhillipsWe had a great experience for a quick overnight stop at quiet acres camping. Let me tell you the park is in beautiful shape down a nice gravel road. There's lots of birds singing and plenty of property to walk around on. They have a little playground for the kids they have tent and RV camping. What a great little family run business! Keep up the good work guys!
Jul 14, 2025 · Brigit KowalczykThis is a fairly new park and quite small. The owners are very nice and working hard to improve it. Be sure to know, the park is down a half mile dirt road. This caught us by surprise. It’s a dusty, and could be muddy in rain, road to the campground. The campsites are a good quality gravel. We camped in a 37 foot class a motorhome. We fit fine, but we had to park our car at a slight angle. Also, the utilities are shared between two sites. This meant we had to run our electric and our water under the RV. This is somewhat challenging if you do not have extensions. There’s not much in the town, but this is a good overnight stop off of I80.
