Rivercrest RV Park is conveniently situated at 906 S Esplanade St, Cuero, TX 77954, USA. This address places it squarely within the town of Cuero, a significant advantage for RVers who prioritize easy access to local services and attractions. Being in town means that essential amenities like grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, and local restaurants are just a short drive away, often within walking or cycling distance depending on your exact site.
Cuero itself is located in DeWitt County, in the South Central region of Texas. This strategic location makes it an accessible hub for exploring the surrounding areas, including historical sites, natural parks, and other charming Texas towns. For those traveling across the state, Cuero serves as a practical stopover point, situated on key roadways that connect various parts of Texas.
The park's address on S Esplanade Street suggests a location that is likely to be well-connected to Cuero's main thoroughfares, making it relatively easy to navigate for RVs of all sizes. While the specific layout of the street and park entrance is best confirmed upon arrival or by reviewing satellite imagery, the in-town location generally implies better road conditions and less challenging access compared to more rural parks. This accessibility is a significant benefit for anyone looking to minimize travel time to and from necessary services or local points of interest. Its proximity to town allows visitors to experience Cuero’s unique character, from its historic downtown to community events, without having to travel far from their RV.
Rivercrest RV Park aims to provide the fundamental services necessary for a comfortable RV stay. Based on available public information and customer feedback, here are the services you can generally expect:
- RV Sites with Hookups: The park offers sites equipped for RVs, which typically include electrical hookups (common amperage options like 30-amp and 50-amp would be expected, though specific availability may vary per site), water connections, and sewer hookups for convenient waste disposal. These full hookups are crucial for self-contained RVs.
- Wi-Fi Access: One customer review explicitly mentions, "WiFi works good." This indicates that internet connectivity is provided and generally functions well, which is a significant advantage for many travelers who rely on it for work, entertainment, or staying connected with family and friends.
- Laundry Facilities: The park provides on-site laundry services, though one review notes it has "one washer & one dryer." This amenity is convenient for guests, particularly those on longer stays, allowing them to do their laundry without leaving the park. However, guests should be prepared for potential wait times due to the limited number of machines. The review also mentions the washer "doesn't go through spin cycle and the dryer barely works," which suggests potential maintenance issues to be aware of.
- Restroom Facilities: A bathhouse is present at the park. However, a customer review describes it as "in rough shape," mentioning that "the hot water heater doesn't work so if you have to shower, it's gonna be cold." Additionally, "gaps in the frame of the door" were noted, suggesting potential issues with privacy or exposure to wildlife. These details indicate that while a bathhouse is available, its condition might be a significant factor for guests planning to rely on shared facilities.
- Trash Disposal: Standard waste disposal facilities are typically provided for guest convenience, allowing for easy and regular trash removal from RVs.
Based on customer feedback, Rivercrest RV Park presents a mix of features that contribute to its overall character. For prospective guests, understanding these highlights is key to setting expectations:
- Central Cuero Location: One of the most significant advantages is its location "Not far from town." This proximity means easy access to Cuero’s local shops, restaurants, and essential services, making it convenient for errands and exploring the community.
- Affordable Rent: A customer highlighted that "Rent is reasonable," suggesting that the park offers competitive pricing, which can be a major draw for budget-conscious RVers or those planning extended stays.
- Functional Wi-Fi: As noted in a review, "WiFi works good." Reliable internet access is a crucial feature for many modern travelers, allowing for remote work, streaming, and staying connected.
- Close-Knit Community Feel (Potential Drawback for Some): "Campers are super close together. You can hear your neighbors talk, etc." This aspect can be seen as either a highlight or a drawback depending on individual preference. For some, it fosters a sense of community; for others, it may lead to a lack of privacy or quiet.
- Basic, No-Frills Approach: The park appears to focus on providing essential RV hookups without extensive recreational amenities. Reviews mention "No picnic tables or firepits or grills on property unless you bring your own." This indicates a straightforward, utilitarian approach to an RV park, suitable for those who primarily need a place to park with hookups.
- Cleanliness (Mixed Reviews): One review states, "Pretty clean for the most part," indicating a general level of cleanliness. However, other feedback regarding the bathhouse and laundry facilities suggests that some areas may not meet higher standards of maintenance.
It's important to note the points raised by customers regarding noise and maintenance. One review stated, "Super noisey; music blares from people’s vehicles or campers any hour of the day or night which gets frustrating when you’re trying to sleep & nothing gets done about it." This highlights a potential issue with noise management. Additionally, concerns were raised about property investment, with a review stating, "Money is not invested back into property," and detailing issues with the bathhouse (cold water, gaps in the door leading to "wildlife"), and malfunctioning laundry machines ("washer doesn't go through spin cycle and the dryer barely works"). These specific points of feedback are critical for prospective guests to consider when evaluating their needs and expectations for an RV park.
Specific, publicly advertised promotions or special offers for Rivercrest RV Park are not consistently detailed in widely available public information. However, it is common for RV parks, particularly those that cater to longer-term stays and offer competitive rates, to have various pricing structures or potential deals that are best inquired about directly.
- Monthly Rates: Given that one review explicitly mentions, "You are paying 340 a month," it is highly probable that Rivercrest RV Park offers attractive monthly rates. For Texans looking for an extended stay or a seasonal base in the Cuero area, inquiring about their long-term pricing will likely yield the best value.
- Weekly Rates: Similar to monthly rates, many RV parks provide discounted weekly rates compared to daily stays. This is an excellent option for visitors planning a stay of more than a few nights but less than a month.
- Off-Season Pricing: If Cuero experiences peak and off-peak seasons for tourism or RV traffic, the park might offer reduced rates during quieter periods. It's always worth asking if your travel dates fall into a time with potential savings.
- No-Frills Value: The park's emphasis on affordability ("Rent is reasonable") suggests that its pricing model is designed to offer a good value for essential RV services, appealing to those who prioritize cost-effectiveness over extensive amenities like swimming pools or recreational facilities.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on any current promotions, availability, or special offers, the most effective approach is to contact Rivercrest RV Park directly using the provided contact information. For Texans looking for an RV park in the Cuero area, Rivercrest RV Park presents a practical and affordable option, particularly for those who prioritize location and essential services over extensive recreational amenities. Its suitability for locals hinges on several key factors.
Firstly, its in-town location at 906 S Esplanade St is a significant draw. Being "Not far from town" means easy access to Cuero’s local businesses, including grocery stores, gas stations, and eateries. This convenience is invaluable for both short-term travelers passing through and long-term residents who need to manage daily life while on the road. For Texans who appreciate the charm of a smaller town but still want access to necessities, Rivercrest RV Park's central spot is a clear advantage.
Secondly, the "reasonable rent" is a major selling point. In a landscape where RV park costs can vary widely, Rivercrest RV Park appears to offer a cost-effective solution, especially for extended stays, as indicated by the reported monthly rate. This affordability makes it a viable option for Texans who might be working in the area temporarily, visiting family for an extended period, or simply seeking a budget-friendly base for their RV adventures.
The availability of "good" Wi-Fi is another practical benefit, allowing guests to stay connected for work, communication, or entertainment, a crucial amenity in today's world. While the laundry facilities are noted to be limited and potentially in need of maintenance, their presence still offers an on-site convenience, even if a backup plan to a local laundromat might be advisable for critical laundry needs.
It is important for prospective guests to be aware of the feedback regarding noise and the condition of the bathhouse and some laundry machines. For Texans who value a quiet environment above all else, or who heavily rely on spotless, fully functional shared facilities, these points are worth considering and perhaps discussing with the park management directly before committing to a stay. However, for those who are more self-contained in their RVs and prioritize affordability and an accessible location, these issues might be less impactful.
In essence, Rivercrest RV Park in Cuero is suitable for Texans seeking a straightforward, centrally located, and budget-conscious RV parking solution. It’s a no-frills park that delivers on the fundamentals: a place to park with hookups, good Wi-Fi, and proximity to town, all at a reasonable price point. For many local RVers, these core attributes are precisely what they look for in a convenient Texas stopover or an extended home base.

Super noisey; music blares from people’s vehicles or campers any hour of the day or night which gets frustrating when you’re trying to sleep & nothing gets done about it. Pretty clean for the most part. Not far from town. Rent is reasonable. Campers are super close together. You can hear your neighbors talk, etc. WiFi works good. Has one washer & one dryer so you are sharing with everyone unless you have your own or go to a Washateria.
Money is not invested back into property. No picnic tables or firepits or grills on property unless you bring your own. Bathhouse is in rough shape, and the hot water heater doesn't work so if you have to shower, it's gonna be cold. While taking a shower, don't be surprised if you see wildlife with you due to gaps in the frame of the door. The washer doesn't go through spin cycle and the dryer barely works. You are paying 340 a month just so someone gets rich, because as I said, money is not being invested back in the property. If an option of going elsewhere is plausable, I'd suggest the elsewhere. Wish I could give no star
Wonderful, friendly, and acomitable. Lindsey the owner is a great guy.
Trailera are too close together.
