Located directly on Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA, this campground offers a unique blend of convenience, excellent amenities, and a serene natural setting. Whether you're looking for a comfortable RV site with all the hookups or a more rustic tent camping experience, Robins FamCamp provides a welcoming and well-maintained environment for your outdoor adventures.

Robins FamCamp is more than just a place to park your RV or pitch a tent; it's a community hub designed to support military families and individuals. With its proximity to base facilities and local attractions, it offers a distinct advantage for those with military affiliation. Guests frequently praise the beautiful location, often remarking on how it "feels like you're in a different world," providing a true escape while still being conveniently located. Its value, especially for those in the area for extended periods, is consistently highlighted, offering a cost-effective and pleasant alternative to off-base accommodations.

The park is known for its quiet atmosphere and the careful planning that has gone into its layout and facilities. While it might be "a little off the path" for those just passing through, the journey is well worth it for the peace, value, and quality of stay. The dedicated team ensures that the campground remains clean, functional, and inviting, making it a reliable choice for your next Georgia camping trip.

Location and Accessibility

Robins FamCamp is strategically located at Bldg. 1305, Robins AFB, GA 31098, USA, placing it directly within the secure perimeter of Robins Air Force Base. This location offers significant advantages for eligible guests, including enhanced security and convenient access to base facilities. While being on an active military installation, the campground itself provides a feeling of being in a peaceful, natural setting, often nestled near Luna Lake.

For those traveling to the FamCamp, large RVs and fifth wheels are advised to use Gate 4 (Commercial Vehicles) to enter Robins AFB. This gate is typically open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If arriving outside these hours, visitors should contact Robins AFB Security Forces at (478) 926-2187 for alternative entry instructions, as other gates may have barriers difficult for larger vehicles to navigate. Be prepared for vehicle inspections upon entry, which may include opening storage areas.

Despite its on-base location, Robins FamCamp offers good accessibility to off-base attractions in Warner Robins and the surrounding areas. The nearby Museum of Aviation is a must-see, offering engaging experiences just a short drive away. Additionally, general shopping, dining, and other services are readily available in Warner Robins, ensuring that campers have everything they need within a reasonable distance. The blend of on-base convenience and proximity to local amenities makes it a highly desirable location.

Great location and experience when in the area. A little off the path if you are just travelling through, but a good value. We stayed in the overflow section. This time we arrived in daylight hours and it was much easier to get settled in.

This is our favorite RV park. Park manager, Jerry is the best. 24 sites nestled in among tall pine and oak trees. Every site has shade sometime during the day. Abundant hiking trails from the park as well as two play grounds in the park. Sites have nearly level concrete pads and asphalt paved approaches.

A real nice little RV Famcamp, restrooms/bathhouse/laundry room is outdated. It's relatively clean, but in need of updating. The sites are level concrete pads, some are close together, site #3 (which I had) was kinda by itself, not as close to the others, the RV park in "in the woods by the lake". Directions: I-75 exit 144 (Buc-ees), head east on Russell Pkwy, stay strait on Russell Pkwy all the way to the gate, through the gate, (Russell Pkwy turns into Robbins Pkwy) T/R first road, then immediate right turn again, follow this strait, kinda bear right in front of base housing, proceed strait, follow Famcamp signs.

Very nice small campground by a lake. Very close to bx and commissary, has walking trails and a playground for kids. Full hookups available and for being on a base relatively quiet...has numerous walking trails and the campsite lake even has a 🐊. Was a great overnite stop to Tallulah gorge and Smoky Mountains. Will return in the fall.
