Worst KOA ever! I had a late call to a guy employee.. I paid $38.66 for a tent setup. Everything, was good and I usually have good interactions at other KOA's I've stayed at. Well, I was rudely woken up at 9am by by a different woman employee. Yelling until I woke up asking me what the hell I was doing there. I woke up and crawled out of my tent. To find her standing next to her Grey SUV telling me to leave and that I shouldn't be there because I didn't pay! I politely told I was a late arrival. She angrily told me that I wasn't and I need to leave. So, I told her the exact amount and which lot I paid for. She, still angrily responded telling I need to go because I didn't pay! I said: check your receipts, it's there. I'm going back to bed. She said NO YOU DIDN'T AND YOU NEED TO LEAVE! I'M GOING CALL THE COPS! She then jumped in her truck went over to the office and went to go open it. I wasn't wanting to deal with anymore unnecessary issues. So, I grabbed my tent with everything inside it and threw it in the back of my truck and left immediately! The most Horrible KOA experience EVER!

We just got home from our stay at Rochester Marion KOA and what a disappointment! We have 2 small children so we were excited to have a pool and playground at our visit. The playground has not been kept up, I was fearful the the kids would fall through the boards they were so old and rotten. They just reopened the pool after a broken filter repair but weather wasn’t right for swimming. They have an RC car race track that was so overgrown with weeds and grass it wasn’t even usable. Friday evening the restrooms were out of toilet paper and one of the toilets was backed up. And this was after office hours so no one to restock and resolve the toilet issue. The bathrooms were very outdated. It appears this park is just not kept up as needed. This is right off the highway so traffic noises all night if that bothers you as well or if you’re in a tent. We’ve heard good things about other KOA parks before, so thought this would be a fun stay and worth it. This really was upsetting for the price we paid.

A really nice koa overall the pool filter wasn't broken and there were clean bathrooms and the owners were very. friendly. It would be 5 stars but their were drunk campers swearing and saying vulgar and crude things in front of kids and this is not the koas fault so this is still a nice koa just hope those campers aren't there when your camping here.

As other reviewers have suggested, this place needs some updating/maintainence. The amenities for the kids were a bust. The playground is falling apart, the pool dirty, and the volleyball net (which is all ripped up) sits in an area of overgrown grass. The grass at our camp site was a bit long too, which doesn't help with the summer bugs. The sites themselves were spacious with lots of shade, and the bathrooms were clean, which we appreciated. This was just a one night stay for us to break up a longer drive, but any longer and we would have had to venture out for entertainment.

Honest opinion not my favorite KOA's as a long time paid member of KOA and Having visited campgrounds all across the USA this by far is one of the saddest ones we have visited, it has locks on the bathrooms? Which is a first as well as the facilities were disconnected from the camp itself making it a bet of a trek if you needed to use the facilities for any purpose. The amenities were few if any and the ones they had were by far the worse I've ever seen the playground is a death trap for children, it should be torn down, the pool was small and looked no better then that.
