For Texans exploring various housing options in the dynamic city of San Antonio, mobile home parks often present an alternative path to homeownership. Salado Creek Estates Mobile Home Park, located in a well-established area of San Antonio, is one such community that has served residents for years. When considering any housing choice, especially within a mobile home community, it’s important to gather as much factual information as possible to make an informed decision that aligns with your lifestyle and needs.
This article aims to provide an overview of Salado Creek Estates, focusing on publicly available data regarding its location, accessibility, and the general services one might expect from such a community. We’ll also touch upon the general considerations that prospective residents in Texas should keep in mind when evaluating a mobile home park. Understanding these aspects is crucial for anyone looking to find a suitable and comfortable living situation in the San Antonio area.
The park's location on Corinne Drive provides straightforward connectivity to major roadways in San Antonio. It is generally understood to be within reasonable proximity to Loop 410 (Connally Loop) and Interstate 35, two primary arteries that facilitate travel across the city. This accessibility means that residents can typically reach downtown San Antonio, various commercial centers, employment hubs, and other points of interest with relative ease, depending on traffic conditions.
While the immediate vicinity of the park on Corinne Drive itself may be primarily residential, the broader area offers access to essential services. These often include grocery stores, local dining establishments, pharmacies, and other retail options necessary for daily living. Public transportation routes may also be available in the general vicinity, providing alternative commuting options for residents. For Texans considering a mobile home park in San Antonio, Salado Creek Estates's location offers the benefit of being within an established urban area, allowing for convenient access to city resources while maintaining a distinct community feel.
For prospective residents in Texas, the core financial benefits often include:
Any specific current incentives or available homes directly from park management would best be obtained by contacting Salado Creek Estates Mobile Home Park directly. This would allow you to inquire about current lot rental rates, any homes for sale within the park, and any specific terms or conditions that might be applicable.
It is always advisable to contact the park directly to confirm current operating hours, discuss specific details about lot availability, and address any questions you may have regarding community rules or the application process. Direct communication ensures you receive the most accurate and up-to-date information for your housing search in San Antonio.
The primary appeal for many locals lies in the potential for a more affordable path to homeownership compared to traditional housing. In a growing city like San Antonio, where housing costs can be a significant barrier, mobile home parks often provide a more accessible entry point to owning a residence. This can be particularly appealing to individuals or families seeking a sense of stability and personal space that apartment living might not offer, without the hefty price tag of a conventional house.
Furthermore, its established location in San Antonio provides residents with direct access to city amenities. Being situated on Corinne Drive, with relatively easy access to major thoroughfares like Loop 410 and I-35, means that daily commutes, access to employment centers, shopping, dining, and healthcare facilities are all within reasonable reach. This convenience is a significant factor for Texans who need to balance budget-conscious living with the demands of urban life.
While past reviews indicate areas that require attention from management, for a local Texan prioritizing affordability and a fixed address within San Antonio’s urban fabric, Salado Creek Estates Mobile Home Park presents an option worth evaluating directly. Visiting the park, speaking with current residents if possible, and engaging directly with the park management are crucial steps to determine if it aligns with your specific housing goals and expectations for community living in the heart of Texas.

This park is so unorganized being owned by a man who lives in another state. It's dirty and appears there are a lot of homeless people hanging around raising the theft rate.
Mar 21, 2025 · Janssi CovaltLived here for years and loved it but something happened to the owner that made him horrible! They care nothing about the people that live here Everyone that could, moved out. Do NOT consider moving here! Only gave one star because that was the only way I could leave a rating.
Feb 14, 2023 · Cindi ManneyIt is what is. A typical trailer park only this one is mostly retirement age living there. It could use some upgrades and an awesome landscaping crew come through and fix the property up. But honestly there is no reason to be there unless visiting a friend or family.
Jun 12, 2023 · Black DiamondI would give no stars if I could. Landlord Fabio increases rent every month illegally this place is run down but rent is nearly $1000 this is not right.. mail boxes are broken anyone can steal your mail @ PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HILLY BILLY NUT TRAILER PARK!! There are also many illegal immigrants, 3 trailers in particular that are drug houses ( fetynal, meth ) very dangerous, many stolen shopping carts at front gate, just nasty takes prayer to be in this place🙏 many many vehicles in this small place emergency services can't get through if need be... many reports nothing was done, I highly recommend border patrol, and several raids!! There are children here🤕
Feb 28, 2024 · Rebekah RJust wow. This is desperateville... you can pay the same price for a decent mobile home elsewhere. Nobody looks out for nobody despite the small community. Even the building manager or maintenance didn't even see this ladys house get robbed and it is right in front. I would never ever recommend this place. A homeless shelter would be better than this dump. I found a much cleaner, friendlier and safer mobile park elsewhere. Smh Just wow.
