Sherwood Heights About
Welcome to Sherwood Heights, a mobile home community located in the charming and rapidly growing city of Jeffersonville, Indiana. For those in the Hoosier State seeking an affordable, convenient, and increasingly well-maintained place to call home, Sherwood Heights offers a promising option. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview of what makes our park a suitable choice for local residents, covering everything from its prime location to the notable improvements and features designed to enhance your living experience. We understand that finding the perfect home is a significant decision, and we are here to provide comprehensive information to assist you in your search.
Mobile home parks, or manufactured home communities as they are increasingly known, have evolved considerably over the years. They provide a viable and often more accessible pathway to homeownership for many individuals and families, sidestepping some of the substantial financial hurdles associated with traditional stick-built homes. In Indiana, manufactured homes are built to rigorous federal standards set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), ensuring quality, safety, and durability. This makes them a smart and economical choice for many Hoosiers looking for value and comfort. Sherwood Heights, in particular, has seen recent efforts to improve its environment, focusing on cleanliness and updating homes, as highlighted by resident feedback.
One of the key advantages of considering a mobile home park is the blend of affordability and the potential for a sense of individual space. Unlike many apartment complexes, mobile home residents often enjoy their own lot, providing a greater sense of privacy and the opportunity for personal landscaping or outdoor areas. This, coupled with typically lower monthly housing costs compared to traditional homes, positions mobile home living as a very attractive proposition for those looking to manage their budget effectively without compromising on comfort or the feeling of having a true home. Sherwood Heights strives to be a community where residents can enjoy these benefits within a continually improving environment.

Customer Reviews
We have done work on this property for several years. Ever since Denise and Brandi have taken over managing, the community has been cleaned up of trash and the homes have been really taken care of and updated. Brandi and Denise have been such great people to deal with and are there to help whenever there is a problem! I would highly recommend if you need an affordable place to live that is striving to become better all of the time!
I was community manager here for a few months. Right after Vicky left and I was improving the park. I got pregnant and was too sick to work so I told my manager that I was thinking I needed time off for a bit and they hired someone under me. My last day my manager and I got into it and she tried to put her hands on me. Police came. Fast forward....new community manager came in...already didn't like me. Wanted to schedule a time to come look at our trailer and so I told her that's fine but I'd like officers there Incase anyone happens. She told me I was refusing. Then started telling my friend in the neighborhood that if she caught them talking to me she'd find a way to get them out. We have her on video threatening us. I was apparently three months pregnant breaking into ppl houses all while her and the maintenance man were the ones doing sooo....she eventually got fired for fraud and she evicted my family and I and now we can't move back in the park..... pathetic
New pavement today! Let's just hope that doesn't increase the rent again. Tree fell on neighbors truck in ice storm
Been her for a few years now. Seen alot of management come and go. Glad to see improvements being made. Ms.Brandi and Ms. Kimberly are awesome. Those two are very friendly and helpful. Glad to see you out in community.. Keep up the good work and thanks for everything
I have lived here since January of 2020. When I moved into my two bedroom trailer I had nothing but a couple bags of clothes. I have turned my trailer into a wonderful home and have some of the greatest neighbors anyone could ask for. With that being said there is a Huge downside to this community. For over two years I have asked for Maintenance to come and fix a few things around the place that need some attention. When you’re paying over a $1,000 a month for a rental there should not be any issues with your residence. My GFCI went out (which of course is connected to multiple outlets) over a year and a half ago and still don’t have it fixed. So there’s 5 outlets that I can’t use in my home. The foundation is sinking in which is cause the trailer to buckle and all the doors are off set do to it. I was suppose to have space for two vehicles since I am paying for a two room trailer and still only have one. The list goes on and on which nothing has been addressed yet. I have sent out multiple emails, text messages, phone call/voicemail (which I have kept them all) and have been promised this set date and time but always was cancelled on. Every manager that has been here has stolen money or made the community worst. Never have seen or spoken to any of the owners (if they even existed). There is never anyone around when there is an emergency so you basically have to deal with it yourself. So I pay for a rental that I have to pay for a maintenance person to come work on if I want anything fixed. I love my home and wish it wasn’t such poorly managed and maintained. Guess it’s never going to change for the better. I do not suggest this park as a good place for a home. Rent is way too high (goes up every year), no maintenance on site, management changes every 3-5 months, trailers wayyyy too close to each other, homeless every where and nothing is done, needles laying on the ground where the children gather to get onto the bus and totally ignored.
