I had a great experience. I pull in and a guy asked my name and said follow me. Followed down to site, helped direct me with parking, and even filled my propane tank. The lady's in the store were wonderful and helpful. Watch out for the cats. It isn't like staying at a state park or "resort", but it does put you close to Louisville and the surrounding city. If you want to be close to Louisville or Jeffersonville it is ideal. It is so close to the river I rode my bike there in about 5 minutes. From there you can bike along the river, over it on the Big 4 brown pedestrian bridge to Louisville parks. Plenty places to ride there too. If I had kids or grandkids with me, and the main reason you are together is to bond around a campfire and enjoy nature, take a pass on this place. If you are in the area to explore it then this will do. I stayed next to train tracks. I honestly never heard them at night. I did during the day a couple times. The sites are tight leaving little room to gather around the campfire. The guy next to me had several people at his site though. Just don't expect a state park. I felt safe. Easy drive to town. Full hookups. Expect nice people, at a clean campground, with lots of cats.
May 27, 2025 · Frank WolfeSpots are quite small so I wouldn't recommend larger rigs. Our spot was decent enough. There was literally a train track behind and above our heads, but it never bothered us. Office staff were really nice and bathrooms spotless. We will definitely come back in the future. Enjoyed the cats in the Office as I was missing mine from hkme
Mar 30, 2025 · Danyele JansSpaces are tiny, rv's crammed together, owner is very rude and has a crap ton of cats running around, the smell is TERRIBLE, our site was next to a full time that smoked like crazy, it stunk terribly, we didn't have room to put chairs out (not that the smell would make u want to) we where supposed to stay 8 weeks and left after 1 week. Oh, and a train track along side of the rv park, trains all day and night.
May 15, 2025 · Daniel FraggettaGood central location for any events in and around the Louisville location. Had a clean on site store with fuel options. Greenway and tennis courts accross the road. Family owned and they take care of residents and their pets! Dinner theater you can walk to and easy interstate access.
Dec 30, 2024 · M BroomOk, I get it. If I had a job in the area it's a cheap place to put my rig. For a quick stop overnight it's also ok. The all night train switching yard on one side, the noise from the highway traffic, the airport on a third side, a grumpy clerk who didn't want to be there and almost half the store dedicated to Trump memorabilia notwithstanding, a set of ear plugs dealt with most of the issues, staying in your camper and leaving immediately the next day fixed the rest.
