We had a great month in Shiner at Boggy Creek RV Park. Jane, the owner/manager, is so incredibly helpful and also works at the Shiner Chamber of Commerce, so she knows an incredible amount about what there is to do and see in Shiner and the surrounding areas. All the spots are pull-throughs and easy to access. We stayed for a month and paid $350, which included electricity. The laundry facilities are newer, very clean, and large capacity. The park is very quiet at night (except for some coyotes and cows LOL). There are some kids in the RV park, but they are all very well behaved. Across the street from Boggy Creek RV Park is Green-Dickson Municipal Park which has a playground, running/walking trails, stocked fishing streams/ponds, and picnic facilities. It is very well cared for and is a great resource to have right next door. Shiner itself is an adorable town with very friendly people. Make sure you stop by Howard's for $2 beers and friendly neighbors. Also free beer and tours at Spoetzl brewery and amazing meet at Maeker's. We would definitely stay here at Boggy Creek again. The facilities are nice, clean, and affordably priced, and Jane is a wonderful manager. We definitely recommend this place and this town if you are traveling through Texas.

nice rv park. we stayed here when we played in an allstar softball tournament for a week. full rv hook ups. plenty of slots. literally less than a minute from the baseball fields and green dickson park. its quiet and has nice air consitioned facilities to shower and do coin laundery at. on the front side of the facilities is a club house. the staff were friendly and respect your privacy. i love the rural area..im used to being in the country..if you're a city person you might get bored lol we ate at the warners restaurant, the donut place and the gas station. explored the park playgrounds, went to the dollar store and got some essentials, toys for the kids and a baby pool that we got permission to set up. only thing that could make this trip better is if we win some more softball games!

A very nice r.v. park, the shower rooms were nice: big, clean and plenty of hot water. It is nice and quiet out away from town. We are here to help remodel Shiner Baptist church (what a great group of people!) The only negative is that the r.v.spots are pretty tight, no picnic table space, trees etc. But then it's been too hot to be outside .... so maybe that's the norm down here. (?) There is a room to congregate inside to visit with others, that is a plus!

Jane, the owner was very nice. They have pull through sites all 30/50. They have a laundry. We actually didn't stay there more like a storage with the power on for our kitty.
