As a permanent residential mobile home park, Silk Oak Lodge primarily offers long-term lot leases for its manufactured homes, rather than transient vacation-style promotions. Therefore, you won't typically find "special offers" in the form of seasonal discounts or limited-time deals commonly associated with hotels or short-term rentals. The value proposition of living at Silk Oak Lodge lies in its age-qualified community structure, its range of amenities, and its desirable location in Clearwater, Florida, offering an affordable housing solution compared to traditional homes in the area.
However, prospective residents should be aware that lot rent is a primary cost, and as noted in resident feedback, these rates can increase periodically. Any specific "promotions" or incentives, if available, would be related to current lot availability or particular lease terms, which are usually discussed directly between interested parties and the park management. Such incentives might include, for example, a period of reduced rent for new residents on specific lots or favorable lease terms for long-term commitments, though these are not widely advertised.
For the most accurate and current information regarding available lots, prevailing lease rates, and any specific terms or considerations for becoming a resident, it is highly recommended to contact Silk Oak Lodge directly. They can provide comprehensive details on the financial aspects of living in the community, including lot rent, utility responsibilities, and any community fees, ensuring you have a complete understanding before making a decision. It is also advisable to inquire about any ongoing maintenance plans or improvements for the amenities and infrastructure, as this has been a point of feedback from current residents.

Customer Reviews
I have lived here for 1 year. Terrible communication. I was also not told when I bought that there would be no outside water and hasn't been for way over the year I have been here. Bridge between both sides of the park has collapsed twice last year making it impossible for 1 side of the park to get to any of the amenities as they are on the other side of the park. This would include laundry, clubhouse, which leaks and smells like mold, and the pool. They state it will take 1.5 YEARS to fix what is like a 12' X 8' bridge over a creek. It is sad as there are alot of long term residents here but hey my rent INCREASED $118.77 for 2025. Multiple homes have been for sale since i moved in and won't sell because of these things and alot of other things have happened this year here as well. The company who owns the park is ELS and they own MANY other parks. This last year they have been thru 3 managers here. I love my home and my neighbors but wish I knew then what I know now.
Lovely community, well kept grounds. Good management and other than to say hello they pretty much leave you alone. The pool is used a lot and is nearly always immaculate. I just wished the "heated" part was a constant. We like to use in early evenings and its chilly to cold. Otherwise we enjoy living here.

Do not live here this place is horrible and treat you bad. The ppl are nice that live here, but they the rent goes up every month and they do less for you and the park every month. They stopped trimming the trees they just let them fall on your car or house and don't pick them up. It's horrible it's close to 700 a month lot rent and keeps getting higher. Was 500 when we moved there a few years ago. I don't live there anymore!

I called them many times on different days. Most of the time they don't answer. I left messages on their voicemail but no return call. I guess you just gotta keep trying to call until they pick up. Tuesdays and Thursdays are worse because they're in meetings. Jeez for someone who's interested in buying a home and living there, they sure don't appear eager to 'sell'. Now I'm not sure if I want my 80yr old mother to live there.... If she needs something, they won't be easily to get a hold of!

Good luck having the manager lady call you back. Was looking to invest in several homes to add value to the neighborhood, the process their with Fran is a long long time consuming waiting game. As I mentioned, good luck with her calling back, or social skills
