Customer reviews provide a balanced perspective on what to expect. On the positive side, campers consistently praise the "very clean sites," "great customer service with the staff," and the "very quiet location." The availability of "many pull through sites with electric and water" is also a significant convenience for RVers. One satisfied camper enthusiastically stated, "This is the perfect location for us! It is a short drive to our marina. The service is wonderful, and the people are kind and accommodating! The bathrooms are always clean, and the washer and dryer are a reasonable price. The hookups for our camper are great. We will be here a lot this summer!" This feedback underscores the current strengths of the campground in terms of essential services and friendly interactions.
However, it's also important to address areas identified for improvement, particularly the "No tree coverage what so ever" due to past clear-cutting and the perception that the campground is "very expensive for what they offer." While these points are acknowledged, the current ownership offers hope for future development, indicating a potential for positive changes that could further enhance the value and amenities of this promising location. For now, it remains a reliable, clean, and quiet spot for those prioritizing accessibility to trails and top-notch service.

Customer Reviews
Let's start with the positive. Sites are very clean, great customer service with the staff and very quite location. Sites are right off the Soo Line ATV trails which is a plus. Many pull through sites with electric and water. This place is under ne ownership so i am hopeful they will make changes to this campground. Improvements: No tree coverage what so ever. Place opened 8 years ago where they clear-cut everything and never plated any trees since. Walmart parking lots have more shad with their light poles. This campground is very expensive for what they offer. We paid $72/night (which was their spring discount). I honestly felt this was almost double what it was worth. A swimming pool would add the value, but there has been little to no money reinvested. The place is super quiet, but that is due to lack of campers which means they need to charge more. (4 campers the whole weekend)
This is the perfect location for us! It is a short drive to our marina. The service is wonderful, and the people are kind and accommodating! The bathrooms are always clean, and the washer and dryer are a reasonable price. The hookups for our camper are great. We will be here a lot this summer!
We stayed here over night on a cross country road trip. Checked in late and had to leave before open, and despite never meeting management in person, they still managed to make this a wonderful stay for our family. Always helpful over the phone, very organized email communication, friendly campers, clean and comfortable restrooms and campsite, well lit main area, easy to understand night check-in packet that even included koozies and cards!
We choose this KOA for it's location to ride ATV'S. Everything is great.... the rooms are great.... the place is very well taken care of. You have almost everything you need right here.... I would stay here again and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone who asks. Great Job Guys
Quick commute to several lakes and restaurants and great onsite store for emergency supplies and treats. This is a medium size campground with several combinations of sites available (FHU 50/30, water only 30, tent spots and a few without utilities but dump station on site). Lots of green grass, play areas, dog park, and direct access to soo line atv trails. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Laundry and common areas are well kept and clean. Pretty expensive IMO at around $90/night for FHU 50 amp but lots of availability in contrast to other local campgrounds that seem to be booked up with seasonal folks.
