When my father died 8 years ago, my mother was living on an acre lot in the country. Within a year I moved her into Spanish Trails Village. This is a gated community in a perfect location. Our hospital is just across the highway and most medical clinics are minutes away. In this park you own the land under the homes. So no lot rent to pay. Just a monthly fee that gets you access to the clubhouse and its activities, the swimming pool and terrace, a whirlpool spa, shuffleboard courts, private streets, and trash pick-up. Pets and golf-carts are permitted with a few exceptions. It is a 55+ subdivision. I am a Realtor and have sold over 70 homes in this subdivision. So I am familiar with the rest. And I would not have put my mother here if it were not a great place for her to enjoy her retirement years! Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a winter retreat or a full-time home.

I have a home there and couldn't be happier with this park. It is well kept up and close to many restaurants and shopping centers and within an hour of beaches east or west coast.

Nice place, but feels like a desert no trees , front gate is always open . So much for a gated community ! Homes appraised in the 50s but selling in the 90s. The only thing that makes this place nice is the clubhouse. And for that I get two stars

Great community with a lot of very nice properties and amenities close to everything in Zephyrhills. Definitely should be high on your priority list if you're looking to move and relocate
