One of the most scenic drives I've ever taken. People in the area were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of activities for all. A perfect day trip; left me feeling as though I'd been on a long weekend vaycay!

Oct 30, 2023 · amber ladawnNo facilities. Main road Is gravel but well maintained . Camping area is small and primitive (no rest room or water that I saw) . The road up to the Camping area is a bit rough but easy enough even in a two wheel drive car.. Very good birding area especially during the spring migration.
May 05, 2023 · William WhaleyIt's a great leisurely cruise for 18.5 miles. Several vista pullovers, a couple of picnic tables located halfway through. There are all kinds of side roads for the more adventurous. Largest part of it is gravel, a smooth ride. DO IT!!!
Aug 16, 2022 · Michael BamberyReally enjoyed boondocking in this area, had a great family weekend. Fire ring provided was a big plus for cooking.
