My friend has lived in a cottage he owns in this park since 2005. Recently in the past two weeks he informed me that there was sewage backing up from his toilet and also other residences near him as a result of antiquated sewage lines dating back to the late '40s. He personally had at his own expense a plumber come to make sure it wasn't an issue from inside the house at the time there were workers attempting to flush the blockage from the sewer lines in back of the residences. The plumber from a local professional service says he spoke to the plumber outside as to what he was doing he said they were just trying to clear the line because of objects causing blockages and backups. This seemed to remedy the problem within a day or two. But began reoccurring within the next day when calls were made to the office no return calls were made. Nowhere on the office building or the website of gemstone properties is there any after hours emergency contact only the phone number for the office during normal business hours on weekdays. My friend has law sewage backed up into his house this is a major health threat. And nobody seems to give a damn. Do not believe the hype you see on the website. It presents this place to be some type of wonderful resort style living with many amenities. Rather quite the opposite. Do your homework I would never recommend anybody to reside here. It is appalling.

My family moved here about 6 years ago and I have been visiting him in the neighborhood ever since. Over the years I have seen such a difference in the quality of life in the park ever since Luz arrived in the administration office. She has ensured the community has nicer streets, much more visitor parking, a playground for the kids and even cleaner houses in the park. Y tambien gracias Luz por hablar español y poder atenderme en español.
