Customer Reviews
Weary travelers need a place to park your RV/camper and you're looking for a homey, rustic atmosphere look no further than Hilltop. This review is going to be a little different than my previous ones as the conditions behind why we came here are also a little different. My husband called around to numerous places looking for a place for our son and I to stay where he felt we would be safe as he had to leave us and head back to Louisiana to be locked into work because of Hurricane Delta. This place welcomed us with open arms and the owners are very friendly people. They even offered to move our camper for me as I didn't have a vehicle to tow it myself when a 50 amp hookup became available (I declined as at home in our driveway we have been using a 30 amp hookup and have learned what to turn off to use what appliance and I don't like to inconvenience anyone). Our first day here Kellie offered to let us feed the horses some carrots and made sure we had all we needed knowing that we were fleeing yet another storm to hit SWLA. As our stay comes to a close here, my son is sad that we're going to be leaving soon. He made quick friends with the owners grandson and has spent as much time with them as he has here. As much as we needed a place to stay, feeling "at home" somewhere that wasn't our actual home made the whole experience of evacuating far less stressful. My husband returned late last night and the plan was to pull out today and head home, but we will be staying one more day so he can relax and get a dose of the "home" our son and I have had the privilege to experience the last 4 nights before we get back to the huge dollop of reality it is we have waiting for us back at our actual home. Amenities offered: free washer and dryer access, horse stalling, 30 and 50 amp hookups with sewer. There is NO WIFI and you need to pay with cash or check. Animals are welcome but dogs must be leashed and it is requested you pick up after them.
No frills, no thrills but just how I like it. Gravel lots and semi decent wifi and you won't get great tv reception. But, if you're looking for a place to rest your head at night this place will get er done. Well maintained and real nice hosts that'll greet you with a smile. Verizon works ok here and you likely won't get that further down 287. If traffic noise bothers you then you might try getting a spot further from the highway but I sleep like a rock so no worries here.
I lived at Hilltop RV Ranch for almost a year and a half. The owners are precious people! Love them to the moon and back. The property is well kept, free laundry room to residents and I personally loved it there! Would definitely recommend this Park to everyone!!!! It is quiet and close to everything you need! Love you Kelly and Paul!!!!!
Definitely a one of a kind place to stay, short or long term! I’ve been here for 2 years; Very quiet, clean, and safe! Perfectly located between the surrounding towns to where you can easily access the things you need (groceries, shopping, etc.) and also convenient for commuting to work. The owners are amazing people, absolutely love them! I recommend this RV park if you’re looking for a place to stay!
Me and my husband have been at this RV park for 8 months and the couple who runs it, are some of the best and most understanding people we have ever met. Such a nice quiet place and such friendly people, I couldn’t have been happier where I was. They have gone above and beyond as great friends to us, we will always stay in contact with them, love them so much. Great prices and just 20 min from two large city’s on both sides. As well as free washing and drying complimentary to the tenants and wifi, not to mention how safe if feels and very clean.
