Location and Accessibility

The Red Coach Resort is situated at 117 Palmers Vw Dr, Toney, AL 35773, USA. This address places it in a quiet, rural part of Madison County, allowing the resort to deliver on its promise of a peaceful camping experience. While offering a secluded feel, it remains strategically located for convenient access. The resort is just a short distance off the highway, specifically near US-231, making it easily reachable for those traveling through North Alabama.

Its proximity to Huntsville, a major city in Alabama, is a significant advantage. This means that while you enjoy the tranquility of nature at the resort, you are never too far from essential services, a wide array of dining options, shopping centers, and popular attractions that Huntsville offers. Reviewers note that while the access road off the highway can be a "bit difficult to see especially at night," this minor challenge is easily overcome with GPS guidance, and it contributes to the resort's quiet, tucked-away ambiance. The internal roads within the resort are new white gravel, which, while not the smoothest, effectively keeps traffic speeds down, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere.

Promotions or Special Offers

As a privately owned resort with a focus on providing a high-quality, peaceful experience, The Red Coach Resort's "special offers" are likely tied to its consistent dedication to value and guest satisfaction rather than widely advertised seasonal discounts. Their "hidden gem" status and the quality of their amenities speak for themselves.

However, it is always a good practice for potential guests to directly inquire about:

  • Rates for different site types (RV vs. primitive).
  • Availability for specific dates, especially during peak seasons or holidays.
  • Any potential discounts for longer stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates), which are common in many RV parks.

The most reliable way to obtain the most current rates and any specific booking terms is to contact The Red Coach Resort directly by phone. Their responsive management can provide tailored information for your planned visit.

Red coach resort is truly a hidden Gem. The grounds are very clean and well kept up. We stayed in the primitive camping area and were pleasantly surprised. We loved getting the nature vibe. Each primitive site has its own picnic table and fire pit ring with grill grate. Some of the sites are next to a pond while others are along the creek bed. So beautiful! We will definitely be returning and can’t wait to book our next trip.

We will stay here again. A great location for visiting Huntsville. The best part is that it was quiet and we slept with our windows open so we could listen to the frogs/insects while going to sleep. There was no highway noise or anything like that. The utility connections (water/electricity/sewer) were all in good condition and easy to connect. Free wifi was strong and antenna tv channels were clear. The internal roads & sites are all new white gravel - so, not the smoothest driving, but, it did keep traffic speeds down. When we arrived, the registration was simple & easy using a posted QR code, but, it was a bit weird to never ever see an employee or be welcomed by a human. The only 2 minor downsides were (1) the access road off the highway is a bit difficult to see especially at night - if our phone didn’t tell us to turn we would have missed it. A bright neon arrow sign would be nice (2) some other inconsiderate camper allowed their light brown hound dog/lab mix to run around all over the campground. The dog should have been on a leash.

This quick stop for us became our favorite part of our trip! The property is gorgeous, the people are kind and the reservation process was wonderful. There’s a great website that has all you need including a map to navigate the walking trails and vast property. The creeks and koi ponds with waterfalls added to the wonderful ambiance. My oldest daughter made a secret wish “to come back here again”. Highly recommend!

Very nice resort. Looks like a lot of renovations planned and in progress. Probably the quietest park we’ve ever stayed in. Very close to Huntsville attractions. A definite stay again.

We stayed one night in a primitive camp site and we were not disappointed. Beautiful area, plenty of space and it was so peaceful. We will definitely stop again if in the area.
