Customer Reviews
Staff so friendly and helpful. Facilities are kept spotless. We love the location. So convenient for any activity you are interested in doing during your stay. Camper sights are marked with 4 foot wooden fencing so you know your sight boundary. Each sight has a small firepit. There are 2 very accommodating cabins if you are not campers. The only drawback for some would be the highway noise. We are from Central Florida so we are use to road noise.
We called earlier in the morning to reserve a spot we never received a call back so we figured we stop in and check to see if it had availability. The host was off for the day but did pick up his phone he was very rude with my wife on the phone. We agreed to rent two spots since we do have a uhaul and there wasn't extra parking he continued to be rude when he showed up but I figured we only have to sleep here one night so no big deal. I went in the office to pay and he told me we had to be out first thing in the morning "because if his boss saw our junk parked there he would be in trouble" at that point I was done our rig is newer and in very good condition so I told him never mind we'll take our business elsewhere. There is another rv park right down the road that is much more accommodating and easier to access. I would not recommend stopping here if you can avoid it.
Great place - stayed in one bedroom cottage. Very nice! Campground for RVs is also very nice as well.
Stayed here for 4 nights, meeting friends, and found the camping cabins to be the ideal option, if one doesn't have an RV.....so clean, well kept, well-equipped and decorated tastefully, with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The camp managers (Glenn, Jane, Bryan) were excellent hosts! Very accommodating and friendly, like you've known them forever! Call for reservations, as they do not book online. Bryan is awesome and sees that you have everything you need while staying at the park. This park is usually full most of the time. Each lot is shady, has a privacy (low) fence, with trees, shrubs separating each camper, and lots are appropriate size, with full hook-ups and concrete pad. The Tuskaseegee River runs right beside it, so one can enjoy the peaceful setting either by fishing or just relaxing. Rafting or tubing is just a few miles down the road, and is a popular sport for this river. This campground has easy access off of the highway, no slippery roads, and park has paved roads. Great location to nearby towns, within just a few minutes drive, for more exploration or to buy those necessities you forgot. This is a place that you will find you will come back to, frequently.
This is a wonderful place. We stayed in one of the cabins they have on the property. First, I will say everyone there is so friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The cabin was a perfect size for my husband and me. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The location is great- it didn’t take us very long to drive to all the surrounding towns for sightseeing. We have already talked about wanting to go back!
