The owner is a wonderful person! We drifted into her store after getting lost on a hike and needed to buy water. She literally closed her store while she drove us back to our car. We were so grateful. I wish I had found her place before starting our trip to visit the Great Smokey Mountains! I will definitely recommend "Wolf Campground".

Great location, close but not in the busy area. The best thing about the campground is the river and our site #14 was right on the river. The host who is retiring is delightful and accommodating. If you are offended by the rebel flag, this is NOT the place for you. 2/3rds of the park are permanents with car ports over their trailers. The bathhouse makes you wonder if you are cleaner or dirtier when you leave. Too bad because it could be great.

This was booked at the last minute. The owner was very nice. Campground was ok, but the people who rent tent sites, like we did, were loud all night. Showers need updated BAD! all in all, it was ok. Family had fun, and the river was relaxing. Kids even swam in it. I wouldn't go back because it isn't my kind if camping. We like more seclusion. But it was last minute and worked out fine.

The woman that runs this campground is a gem! She was so nice and listened to all my concerns and questions I had about inquiring about campground living. The campground smelled like smoked wood from the fire and had a wonderful view. These moments you don't get all the time so I will cherish this moment always ❤️
