We stayed in the cabins, so can't speak to the tent or RV sites, but had a great time! We came for 2 nights December 27-29 and the weather was rainy, but around 50-60 degrees. You must text or call Michael Bradley to book, and communicating with him went well! We loved the cozy cabin right along the river with code door locks, electricity, TV, an AC window unit and heater. Bathrooms are shared with 2 toilets and 2 showers, it is clean enough but I would bring shower shoes and there are no paper towels so make sure to bring a towel and washcloth - water is hot! Must bring cooking supplies and a cooler unless you plan on eating out every meal (which is possible with the casino, local options and Bryson City about 20 minutes away. Must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags for the double bed. We were in Cabin #9 but 6, 7, 8 & 9 are all waterfront Cabins. Perfect for a weekend away especially if you want to fly fish. Amazing price for what you get, we will be back!

Quiet spot very close to the core of Cherokee. Bradley who runs the place is a good, friendly dude. Electric, water, and wifi at all the spots, bathrooms and showers in the center building. Looks like there's some cabins to rent also. I showed up after dark, I don't know if there's really an office, but just call the number on the sign and Bradley walks right out of the building right by the entrance. 👍

We booked in December for April and got 3 spots on the water for 3 rigs (two class As and one 5th wheel, longest 33 feet). No sewer for the water sites but an easy dump station on your exit. The son/dad owners were so great to work with and made sure we had max space and views for all our rigs. This is right next to a small and quiet city playground that has very cool structures for kids (we had none with us) and walkways that cross bridges for ample dog walking without having to get in a car. We stayed 6 nights. This is a couple of minute drive to the NP entrance and easy access to explore all areas south of the park.

I spent 2 nights in Oct. ‘23. I did not have a reservation as I was passing through on an east coast trip. I got a spot right on the water. I was only going to stay one night but loved it and stayed 2. I’m looking to go back soon. Pretty full but it was quiet and so peaceful! The bath house was clean so if you love camping or glamping and don’t need hotel amenities, I highly recommend.

The Bradley's are a very nice and responsive family. I am so thankful they were lenient with check-in and check-out times. I loved the elks, ducks, and herons. Very serene and peaceful campground, winter is a great time to visit because the heaters (on the high setting) keep the little cabins warm and cozy! The riverfront view is breathtaking with porches, bathrooms, fire pits, and your own picnic table.
