This is our favorite campground. Perfect for little ones. Plenty of flat paved roads for bikes/skates/scooters, the outdoor pool is incredible (and heated!), the indoor pool is so helpful if you have less than ideal weather, and the activities these guys plan are so fun. My kids are 6 and 4 and love the train and the jumping pillow. They also have food trucks parked there on holiday weekends (and maybe others) which is helpful. We already booked our trip for next Memorial Day weekend!

We spent Easter weekend here and had a fabulous time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our cabin was nice and clean(had read they have had issues with bed bugs so went in and inspected before taking anything inside but saw no signs of them not had any issues during our stay). The amenities were plenty to keep my 6 year old entertained throughout the visit. Only things I'd like to see would be more group activities, more to do in the game room and the ability to choose campsite location from what's available at time of booking. That being said I'm already looking forward to returning as soon as the opportunity arises, it's a great place to make memories to last a lifetime!

I can’t say enough good things about the staff at this location. We came in an RV and had a paved spot with a K9 patio for our dogs. When we realized there wasn’t a grill grate for our fire pit, the General Manager personally came out and allowed us to use one of their portable charcoal grills. We will definitely be back but hopefully the weather will cooperate as it pretty much rained the entire time. I would definitely recommend this KOA Kampground to anyone! Only downside was all of the mud because of the rain but they’re still getting a 5 star rating from us. Thank you guys so much!

It was a wonderful stay! The kids had a great time. The only thing was the bathrooms/showers weren't cleaned much. But it wasn't anything horrible. I will be staying again because everything else was wonderful.

I truly regret spending the amount of money I did to stay in a “Deluxe” cabin at KOA Cherokee. The entry door to the cabin was completely rotten and barely there at the bottom, major safety concern with 3 kids. This deluxe cabin was stocked with one trash bag, one roll of toilet paper and not enough towels for the amount of people it says that it sleeps. Linens were supposed to be provided yet the plastic tub that the linens for the bunk beds were in, did not have enough linens. The “full kitchen” in the description is hardly that, and dishes from the cabinets were pulled out to use, to find that they were dirty. Definitely don’t recommend renting a cabin here, I'm sure camping would be much better.
