Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park About

For many Floridians and snowbirds, the allure of the Sunshine State lies in its vibrant communities and diverse housing options, particularly for RV enthusiasts and those seeking manufactured home living. In the scenic coastal area of Hobe Sound, Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park stands as a notable community catering to both. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview of Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park, specifically for local Florida users who are considering it for either short-term RV stays or long-term manufactured home residency. Crucially, we will highlight a significant recent development: a change in ownership and management, which according to a recent review, is bringing about positive changes.

Understanding the dynamics of such a dual-purpose park is essential. Residents typically own their mobile homes and lease the land, while RVers rent sites for varying durations. The overall living experience is heavily influenced by park management, community rules, and available amenities. Our goal is to present a balanced perspective on Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park, drawing from available public data and recent customer feedback, to help you assess if this community aligns with your housing needs and lifestyle preferences in the beautiful environment of Hobe Sound, Florida.

Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park is conveniently located at 7770 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, USA. Hobe Sound is a charming and often understated coastal town in Martin County, Florida. It is well-regarded for its natural beauty, proximity to pristine beaches, and a more relaxed, "Old Florida" ambiance compared to some of the more bustling South Florida cities. The park's strategic position directly on SE Federal Highway (US-1) provides excellent accessibility.

The park's location on US-1 is a significant advantage for residents and visitors alike. This major north-south artery ensures straightforward connectivity, allowing easy travel to surrounding areas. To the north, the vibrant city of Stuart, the county seat, offers a broader array of shopping, dining, entertainment, and healthcare facilities. To the south, Jupiter and the greater Palm Beach County area are within a comfortable driving distance, providing access to more extensive employment opportunities, cultural attractions, and Palm Beach International Airport. Within Hobe Sound itself, residents will find essential services such such as grocery stores, pharmacies, banking, and a variety of local businesses and restaurants, all easily accessible from the park.

Beyond daily necessities, the location excels in offering recreational opportunities. Hobe Sound is famous for its proximity to stunning natural attractions like the Hobe Sound Public Beach, Jupiter Island, and the expansive Jonathan Dickinson State Park. These areas provide abundant opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The Loxahatchee River, one of Florida's designated Wild and Scenic Rivers, is also nearby, offering unique recreational experiences. This blend of coastal beauty, small-town charm, and easy access to regional conveniences makes the location of Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park particularly appealing for Floridians seeking an active yet serene place to live or vacation.

Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park, as a dual-purpose community, aims to provide a range of services for both its long-term manufactured home residents and short-term RV guests. While some past reviews highlighted significant issues with previous management, the recent change in ownership suggests a commitment to improving the resident experience. Based on common offerings for such parks and some older, positive feedback, services typically include:

  • RV Site Hookups: For recreational vehicles, the park provides sites with essential hookups, commonly including electricity (30/50 Amp), water, and sewer connections. Some sites may be pull-through for easier access.
  • Manufactured Home Lot Rentals: For long-term residents, the primary service is the rental of the land (lot) upon which their manufactured home is placed. This typically includes access to common park amenities and management oversight.
  • Community Management and Maintenance: The management team is responsible for the overall operation of the park, including maintaining internal roads, common areas, and enforcing community rules. The recent management change is a critical update, with a review stating "The new owners are corporate oriented and things have begun to get much better." This suggests an increased focus on professional management and improved service delivery.
  • On-Site Amenities: While not extensively detailed in the provided data, a typical RV and mobile home park in Florida often features amenities such as a clubhouse (mentioned in one older review), a swimming pool, and laundry facilities. These contribute to the convenience and recreational opportunities for residents and guests. (Note: A previous review mentioned a "well maintained" pool).
  • Waste Management: Trash and recycling services are generally provided or arranged by the park for residents and guests.
  • Pet-Friendly Policy: Many RV parks and mobile home communities, especially in Florida, are pet-friendly, allowing residents and guests to bring their companion animals. (Specific rules or fees for pets should be confirmed directly).

The positive update regarding new management suggests that services are now being approached with a more organized and professional outlook, aiming to rectify past issues and enhance the overall living and staying experience at Twin Rivers.

Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park offers a combination of features that can appeal to those seeking a Florida lifestyle, particularly now with the reported change in management. Here are some of its key highlights:

  • New Corporate Management: The most significant highlight, according to recent feedback, is the "new owners are corporate oriented and things have begun to get much better." This indicates a shift towards more professional, structured, and potentially responsive management, which is crucial for a positive community experience and addressing any past issues. The sentiment is that "things DO seem to be getting better FAST."
  • Dual-Purpose Community: The park accommodates both long-term manufactured home residents and short-term RV campers. This creates a diverse community environment and offers flexibility for different types of stays, from extended vacations to permanent residency.
  • Strategic Coastal Location: Situated in Hobe Sound, the park benefits immensely from its proximity to the Treasure Coast's natural beauty. Residents and guests have easy access to pristine beaches, the Loxahatchee River, and Jonathan Dickinson State Park, providing abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation like fishing, boating, hiking, and wildlife viewing.
  • Convenience and Accessibility: Its location on SE Federal Highway (US-1) ensures excellent access to local amenities in Hobe Sound, including grocery stores, dining, and shops. It also offers convenient routes to larger cities like Stuart, Jupiter, and beyond, enhancing the practicality of living or staying here.
  • Potential for Improved Amenities: While detailed, recent amenity lists are not fully public, older reviews mention features like a "well maintained" pool and a clubhouse (used for "beer pong" in one anecdote). With new management, there's a strong potential for these and other facilities to be consistently maintained and possibly enhanced, contributing to a more enjoyable stay or residency.

It is important to acknowledge that past negative experiences with the "old management" (described as "Thieves, liars and substance abuse owner" with allegations of fraudulent practices and hostile behavior) were very serious. However, the explicit positive update about the "rescued" park and the "new owners" suggests a clear intent to move past these issues and build a better reputation and living environment.

Information regarding specific promotions or special offers at Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park is not widely available in public domain searches. However, with the recent change in ownership and the stated aim of things "getting much better," it is plausible that the new corporate management may introduce various incentives to attract new residents and RV guests, as is common practice in the industry.

Potential promotions for an RV and mobile home park in Florida might include:

  • Introductory RV Site Rates: Special daily, weekly, or monthly rates for new RV campers, especially during off-peak seasons.
  • Extended Stay Discounts: Reduced rates for longer-term RV stays, appealing to snowbirds or those on extended trips.
  • Lot Rental Incentives for Mobile Homes: For new manufactured home residents, this could involve a reduced lot rent for an initial period, or assistance with relocation costs if bringing in a home.
  • Seasonal Packages: Deals tied to specific Florida seasons, such as summer or winter, to encourage occupancy.

Given the recent management transition, it is highly recommended that any interested individuals contact Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park directly to inquire about current availability, pricing, and any special offers that may be in place. Direct communication will ensure you receive the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding their policies and any incentives they are currently offering as part of their efforts to enhance the community.

Thieves, liars and substance abuse owner. Took a deposit from me on a lot that was not ready to rent in a months time as verbally agreed upon than refused to return my deposit when said spot was still occupied. Owner leaves dates out from receipt for lot rentals which provides her room to argue your move in date was different so she can keep your money. She constantly confuses details and doesn’t remember anything doesn’t return calls was extremely hostile, rude and argumentative when I wanted to show her, her texts to me stating move in dates between us. Get this people she said, ‘I’m arguing about a refund on a deposit that’s on a non refundable receipt.’ Although, she said she would return my deposit if the lot would have been occupied the dates she chose for my move in date. Confusing, right? That’s how you’ll feel dealing with her I’m convinced this isn’t her first time knowingly tricking someone into renting an occupied lot in order to steal money from someone it was a scheme a setup. When I paid her the deposit she said she was sick she had the receipt filled out prior to my arrival and gave it to me on the porch outside. I’m sure that was an act too just to avoid questions or any requests I would have asked for to be made on the receipt like dates. Scammers a true thief!!! Pay attention to the reviews of others I wish I would’ve and avoid this place and shady character like the plague or you will regret it!

I lived here for a few months when I was in high school and had a pretty good time. Jimmy and Catherine are nice people, Jimmy's mother (Sorry, I forgot her name) was very business like and professional. Jimmy mowed the lawn and took care of everything. If someone doesn't like this place, it's probably because they don't like simple things in life.

Awful here. The old lady is a drama queen. They don't know me. I'll have this place closed down. Jimmy seems ok but still lots of nasty and disrespect here. Been here 3 weeks. After last night i think I'll leave. Can't believe i had to get out of bed and listen to the old lady who said she owns this place. If I'm renting a lot I own it as long as i pay the rent. I know the rules/laws and a few ate being broken. So pick at me once more and we will see who makes more dust in the air. Nasty place.
