In the charming area of Hobe Sound, located in Martin County, Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77 is one such community. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview of Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77, specifically tailored for local Florida users who are exploring manufactured home living in the region. We will delve into its location, what information is publicly available regarding its services and features, and, critically, acknowledge significant feedback from past residents.
Understanding the dynamics of a mobile home park is essential. Typically, residents own their homes but lease the land they occupy, and the overall living experience is heavily influenced by the park's management, rules, and community environment. Our goal is to present a balanced perspective on Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77, drawing from available public data and direct customer reviews, to help you assess if this community aligns with your housing needs and expectations in Florida.
Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77 is situated at 11090 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, USA. Hobe Sound is a picturesque coastal community in Martin County, Florida, known for its natural beauty, proximity to stunning beaches, and a relaxed, Old Florida charm. This prime location places the mobile home park along a major thoroughfare, offering residents convenient access to local amenities and the broader South Florida region.
The accessibility of Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77 is a notable advantage due to its direct placement on SE Federal Highway (US-1). This major road provides straightforward north-south connectivity, allowing residents to easily travel to neighboring towns like Stuart to the north and Jupiter to the south. The proximity to US-1 means convenient access to a wide array of essential services. Within a short drive, residents can find grocery stores, pharmacies, banking services, and various retail outlets. Hobe Sound itself boasts local eateries, small businesses, and a community feel that many residents appreciate.
Beyond daily necessities, the location offers ample opportunities for recreation and leisure. Hobe Sound is famous for its beautiful beaches, including Hobe Sound Beach and Jonathan Dickinson State Park, which are just a short drive away, providing opportunities for swimming, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The area also has golf courses, marinas, and environmental preserves that cater to an outdoor lifestyle. The blend of coastal proximity, local charm, and convenient access to regional amenities makes the location of Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77 particularly appealing for those seeking a practical yet enjoyable place to live in South Florida.
Information regarding the specific services offered at Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77 is not extensively detailed in public domain information beyond its general classification as a mobile home park. However, based on the nature of such communities, residents can typically expect certain foundational services. It is important to note that the provided customer reviews raise serious concerns about the reliability and ethical conduct of the park's management regarding fundamental aspects of their operations.
Typically, a mobile home park provides:
- Lot Rental: The primary service, where residents lease the specific plot of land upon which their manufactured home is placed. This lot rent usually covers access to the community and certain maintenance.
- Community Management: An entity responsible for the day-to-day operations of the park, including enforcing community rules, handling resident inquiries, and maintaining common areas. However, reviews strongly indicate significant issues with management's conduct, responsiveness, and fairness.
- Utility Infrastructure: The park would generally provide the necessary hookups for essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity to each lot. Residents are typically responsible for their individual utility bills. The reviews, particularly those alleging "stealing our home by perjury" and false claims about property ownership, suggest profound issues beyond standard utility provision.
- Common Area Maintenance: Maintenance of shared spaces within the park, such as internal roads and any common green areas, is usually overseen by the park management.
Given the severe allegations made in the customer reviews, including "perjury" related to property ownership, "stealing" a home, and refusing rent payments leading to eviction and homelessness, prospective residents must exercise extreme caution. These claims suggest a significant deviation from expected service levels and ethical standards of operation for a residential community.
Publicly available information regarding the specific "features" or "highlights" of Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77, beyond its classification as a mobile home park, is very limited. Typically, such communities might highlight amenities like a clubhouse, swimming pool, recreational areas, or a sense of community. However, based on the provided customer reviews, the primary "features" that stand out, unfortunately, relate to significant concerns from former residents.
Based on the reviews, the following points emerge as significant, albeit negative, aspects:
- Allegations of Misconduct: The most prominent "feature" highlighted by reviews involves serious allegations of perjury in legal proceedings, false claims of property ownership, and the "stealing" of a home. These are not features in a positive sense, but rather critical warnings from past residents.
- Management Conduct: Reviews describe "horrible nasty new management" and a "lady" who "had no sympathy" and refused rent payments, leading to a grandmother's homelessness. This suggests a management style that is perceived as extremely unhelpful, unethical, and adversarial towards residents.
- Disputed Property Titles: One review specifically mentions a dispute over the title to a mobile home between the seller, buyers, and the park, with the park allegedly making false sworn statements about property ownership. This points to potential legal complexities and risks for residents regarding their home ownership.
- Eviction Concerns: The direct account of a grandmother being evicted while hospitalized and attempts to pay rent being refused highlights severe concerns regarding the park's eviction processes and treatment of vulnerable residents.
- Location on Federal Highway: While not a park-specific feature, its placement on SE Federal Highway (US-1) provides convenient access to local amenities and major transportation routes. This is an objective geographical fact, not related to the park's internal management or amenities.
It is important to emphasize that these are direct accounts from customers. Prospective residents must understand that the publicly shared "highlights" are dominated by very serious allegations and negative experiences, which overshadow any potential standard amenities a mobile home park might offer.
Given the nature of the public reviews for Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77, which detail severe allegations of misconduct, including perjury, wrongful eviction, and property disputes, it is highly unlikely that any traditional "promotions or special offers" would be a primary consideration for prospective residents. Businesses that face such significant public criticism typically struggle to attract new customers through promotional incentives.
In a typical, well-regarded mobile home park, promotions might include:
- Reduced Lot Rent for New Residents: An introductory discount on monthly lot rent.
- Move-in Assistance: Help with relocation costs or initial utility hookups.
- Referral Programs: Incentives for existing residents who refer new tenants.
However, based on the information provided, any discussion of such offers would be entirely overshadowed by the very serious concerns raised by former residents. The focus for any prospective resident would, and should, be on verifying the legal status of the park's operations, understanding their rights as a tenant in Florida, and investigating the veracity of the claims made in the reviews. Therefore, it is important to state that no promotions or special offers are known or advertised for Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77, and any such offers, if they existed, would be secondary to the critical issues raised by public feedback.
For those seeking to contact Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77, the publicly available information is as follows:
Address: 11090 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, USA
Phone: (561) 566-6579
Mobile Phone: +1 561-566-6579
Given the severe and specific allegations detailed in the customer reviews, prospective residents or anyone with a need to contact this entity should approach with extreme caution and consider legal counsel. If attempting to contact the park directly, it is advisable to:
- Document all communications: Keep records of dates, times, names of individuals spoken to, and summaries of conversations.
- Communicate in writing: Follow up any phone calls with an email or letter summarizing the discussion.
- Seek independent verification: Do not solely rely on information provided by the park management, especially concerning legal or property title matters.
Due to the nature of the reviews, which include allegations of "perjury" and legal disputes, it would be prudent to consult with an attorney specializing in Florida landlord-tenant law or manufactured housing disputes before engaging in any significant transactions or agreements with Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77.
For locals in Florida, especially those in the Hobe Sound area, evaluating Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77 as a potential place to live requires a critical and cautious approach. While its location on SE Federal Highway offers convenient access to local amenities and beautiful South Florida beaches, the extremely serious allegations from past residents present a significant red flag. Reviews explicitly detail claims of "perjury" in legal proceedings, wrongful eviction of a vulnerable individual, and alleged "stealing" of a mobile home, along with severely negative experiences with management described as "horrible nasty."
In the context of suitability, these highly negative accounts are paramount. While manufactured home living can often provide an affordable housing solution in Florida's competitive market, the concerns raised about Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park 77 relate to fundamental aspects of tenant rights, legal integrity, and basic human decency. Therefore, from a local Floridian's perspective, while the geographical location might be desirable, the information available publicly suggests that this park may not be suitable for those seeking a stable, ethically managed, and secure living environment. Any local considering this park should prioritize extensive due diligence, including legal consultation, to fully understand the potential risks involved before making any commitments.
Customer Reviews
I to had a bad experiance with hsmhp. They stole our home by perjury Here is a letter that I'm sending to the state attorney Office of the State Attorney 19th Judicial Circuit of Florida Subject: Request to Investigate Perjury - Case Number 03-713-CC Dear State Attorney, I am writing to formally request your office to investigate and take action against Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park for committing perjury during an official proceeding related to case number 03-713-CC. As you are aware, there is no statute of limitations on perjury in an official proceeding, and I believe that the actions taken by Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park warrant immediate attention. 1. Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park made a knowingly false sworn statement asserting that they owned the property located on Lot 13 at 11090 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL. At the time of this statement, the title to the mobile home was in dispute between Lehi International (the seller and legal title holder) and the buyers, John and Janet Hunsinger, who were attempting to obtain either a refund or the correct title to the tangible property. 2. Furthermore, Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park has falsely claimed that the property in question was real property, despite knowing that it was not. 3. Additionally, they have made a false statement regarding the name of the defendant involved in this matter. Given the seriousness of these allegations, I urge your office to thoroughly investigate these claims and take appropriate legal action against Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park for their misconduct. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response. Thank you
Stole my grandmothers trailer and evicted her while she was in the hospital and I was trying to pay rent on behalf of her. They refused my money because they wanted to move into the trailer which they did. Horrible nasty new management bad people. My grandmother is now homeless thanks to this lady. (Reply to your response) I’m absolutely not addressing the wrong community, the trailer was in my family for 50 years. I know where it was. Thanks. My grandmother is Linda you know what you did we have had multiple discussions. You had no sympathy, I had money in hand for you and you wouldn’t take it, you could have but you wouldn’t. Now she’s homeless and that’s on your hands.
management makes up stories in an effort to raise your rent! Saying something happened without looking into the matter! Rent is cheap the dirt there is nasty. neighbors are drunks an cause problems! neighbors change their mind then wanna blame u for not giving them something you've offered them! Management needs an attitude adjustment. park seems broken down only been living there a month. their never in the office when they say they are always across the street. Dont rent just buy but stay away from the drunks!
It was horrible I lived there for 11 years.. Noone respects you when I drove in all the kids would get in front of my car so I could drive to my lot... the neighbors would sit on my porch & not even move when I came home. They left something there on the porch & I twisted my ankle. One adult stare at me when he was looking into my living room window. The management kept changing they raised the rent every year. I had a complaint about the neighbors doing drugs & theyour cut a tumor off a dog that they put under. They couldn't do anything about it. My toilets were clog up & they didn't have the time to help me out so my brother had to do it. It's a mess you could never get ahold of anyone It was time for me to move. I didn't want to do it but for myself I had to leave to get a peace of mind
This place is a joke the people running the place do nothing about anything. kid's run everywere and destroy your property and never gets taken care. The people that run the neighbor are never around. They have horrible people living in the neighbor the worse is these older couple that live in trailer 8 in the park they will cause nothing but problem for everyone just to get u in trouble for no reason because there bad people. Stay away from this place especially those two people.
