Customer Reviews
Beautiful, well kept, and easy to access campground for first time RV campers (after picking Casita Travel Trailer and heading to Kempner for Katy's Closet install). We came mid-week , mid-April and had the place nearly to ourselves. Beautiful lake and scenery, with a surprisingly large amount of birds including cranes, duck, and vultures, among others. The groundskeeper, Brian, was very welcoming, informative, and nice. Easy enough to find, and easy to get around the camp ground after getting through first two gates. Impressive enough that we would like to come back on our journeys across America.
Wonderful Park Park hosts are excellent Brian really works hard to make your stay exceptional
We happend upon this park when looking for a place to camp this Memorial Day weekend. This weekend is our first time here and we are in LOVE. The park itself is gorgeous, well planned, and very well kept. The bathrooms are cleaned everyday it seems; there is lots of activity, but minimal noise. The swimming area and boat ramp are near the RV sites which is nice, and there's an adorable playground next to the swim area. We will absolutely be staying here again, it's definitely a hidden gem!
Dog friendly. Swimming area, boat launch, tent spots, rv power and water spots. Waste dump for rvs. Restrooms are clean and there’s a shower that has very nice pressure and hot water with room enough for a wheelchair if needed. I would recommend camping here if you get a chance. There are picnic areas at the campsites and throughout the park to enjoy with your family.
This was an absolutely beautiful spot on the lake. Very quiet. Very peaceful. We had the perfect spot on the upper lot right under a beautiful tree. We even got to see lightening bugs for the first time! The only downfall was a boil order for water was in place for the city and we only knew about it through finding a news article. Nothing was posted at the camp or no notifications. Being from out of town had we not known about the ban from an article we happened across we would have not been complying and using the water there at the camp.
