Primarily, for many individuals and families in Kentucky, the affordability offered by mobile home parks like Whistler Cove is a significant advantage. Manufactured homes typically provide a lower entry point into homeownership compared to traditional stick-built houses, making it a viable solution for those on a budget or looking to reduce their housing expenditures. Lived here for a few years and everything was great! I was located on Robin Drive and basically right in front of the play ground. However about two years after moving there, I noticed that the property management team had reservations about my ex husband and I. We actually lived four doors down from one of the property managers that happened to live on site. But let’s talk about all of the issues here, there are so many wild animals, especially cats that run around this area that it’s shocking that there’s not any sort of animal control that’s being called on their end. And it’s also very appalling at how many times the play ground place that is deemed unplayable and has tape wrapping around it meaning it is out of service and no children are able to play on it, this has been happening ever since I moved in there because they can’t control graffiti or property damages, even though they claimed to have cameras. My ex and I had a trailer that we owned, but would only pay lot rent, therefore any issues with power, water and/or sewage would therefore be the property management responsibility however we were told several times that our waterlines are not their responsibility since we own the trailer, however That is not correct because we paid lot rent. We did not own the land they own the land where the lines were put. Just like any other community like this, there is going to be noise however there was abnormally too much noise, especially at night and nothing would ever be done about it. The cops would be called a few times but all they would do is circle and leave no one ever wanted to deal with this area. And of course, I understand that everybody has to collect their dues just as any normal business should however if you were more than one day late on your rent, even after communicating with the office staff, you would still receive an eviction notice to vacate within seven days if you did not give them the full amount of rent, even if it is just a lot rent. I recall many personal times talking with Jamie and Tina, and would still end up with a notice to vacate. Now this community has taken out upon itself to try to physically sue me for lot rent of a property that I have not lived in, in close to five years now. If there are any other options, I would carefully weigh them out before ever considering this place. They only seem to care if you rent and or purchase a new trailer from them, they don’t really like to mess with anything in older trailers, even though they have plenty in the community. But they have been trying to force those people out and then remove the trailers and put new ones in their places to attract more people and make more money. However, they have not paved the road in years. They have not done any sort of landscaping at all and to be honest, the whole site used to be a recycling dump place so I’m not really sure how safe that is, but I wasn’t aware of that until after I moved out.

It’s a nice quiet place to live. They’ve been removing a lot of the outdated homes and bringing in newer ones. We live in a newer one. We enjoy doing our part in keeping it clean and presentable, along with adding curb appeal outside the home.

I lived there from 2015 to 2022 It went from okay to pretty good. The original company that owned it (2015) were pretty annoying, but it's been sold a lot and depending on which company owns it the place is either good or great. Great location.
