Promotions or Special Offers

Woodsmoke Campground does not typically advertise traditional, time-limited "promotions" or "special offers" in a broad public manner. Instead, its value proposition is built on consistent features and services that act as ongoing benefits for its guests. The primary appeal of Woodsmoke Campground, which serves as its continuous "offer," is the provision of a quiet, clean, and accessible natural retreat at a competitive price point for full hookup sites in the region.

For RVers, the availability of "spacious level sites" with "full hookups (30 or 50 amps, water, sewer)" is a significant and consistent advantage. This ensures a comfortable and convenient stay, which for many campers, outweighs transient discounts. The promise of a "quiet place" is also a major draw, effectively acting as a benefit that promotes relaxation and peace, something often sought after but rarely guaranteed in all campgrounds.

While not a "promotion" in the discount sense, the personalized assistance from the owners, including help with parking and leveling larger rigs, provides immense value. This hands-on support enhances the customer experience and can be a deciding factor for campers, particularly those new to larger RVs or navigating tighter spots. This level of service fosters loyalty and positive word-of-mouth, which is a powerful form of promotion.

Furthermore, the direct access to hiking trails adjacent to the campground and the serene woodland setting with a mountain stream running through parts of the park serve as continuous "features" that attract nature enthusiasts. The ability to simply walk from your campsite into the Cherokee National Forest for a hike is an inherent benefit that elevates the camping experience beyond just a place to park.

Prospective campers are always advised to contact Woodsmoke Campground directly via phone to inquire about current rates, availability, and any specific offers that might be available for extended stays or during off-peak seasons. While direct discounts may not be widely publicized, the consistent quality, tranquil atmosphere, and convenient amenities represent the core value and ongoing "special offer" of Woodsmoke Campground in Unicoi, Tennessee.

Keep Driving Don’t Stop Owner is a terse woman who asks a lot of questions and has many rules. Her husband insisted we park our small travel trailer his way. The restroom/shower was not available. The men’s side stated “Closed for Winter” even though it was springtime in mid April. The women’s side posted “Not open to people who have their own facilities”. We believe the restroom restrictions/discriminations are to keep people out so they don’t have to clean them. We were being watched and/or photographed the entire visit. Creepy. Did not feel welcome or safe. We paid $54 for ten hours of electric service at a level site. Not worth it. No southern hospitality here!

Great place. I decided to bug out for the 4th of July weekend. I had no reservations. I showed up before they opened on the 5th. One of the campers was helpful and the owner came quickly. He was very helpful and nice. After check in he helped out with my parking, and leveling. It looks tight getting in and out. My 5th wheel is 42'5" and I had no trouble at all. If you want a quiet place, this is it.

Stayed here for about 2 weeks. Tight squeeze with a 36' 5th wheel but made it without issue. Quiet and tree covered. If you have a satellite tv or internet, you will be lucky to get it. They do have internet. TMobile was OK here.

We found this campground online by searching for campgrounds near us! It’s about 40 minutes from my driveway to campground! If your lookout for a quiet weekend getaway nestled in the woods, look no farther! Woodsmoke is located in unicoi Tennessee right off exit 32! At first I was worried that there may be excessive noise from the interstate but was quickly relieved that I could not hear any noise at all except the peaceful sounds of nature! We were greeted by the owners and guided to our site, they helped back us in and even had a special touch waiting for us on the picnic table! We asked for a late check out on Sunday and they were more than obliged to work with us! The bathhouse was clean and more than adequate! The atmosphere was calm and peaceful throughout our entire stay, no dogs barking or loud music at all! If you closed your eyes you felt as if your were in the middle of the forest without other camper’s around, it was that quiet! If your passing through Unicoi TN don’t hesitate to call and book a site for a night or two, you won’t regret it! One last note, there is no pool or kid friendly amenities, but that is part of what makes this place so special a campground for parents to get away for our anniversary or older couples who want a quite wilderness retreat. East Tennessee has plenty of family friendly campgrounds to accommodate you, this is one of few that I know of that offers a quiet escape from parenthood lol! We will definitely be back again real soon!
