As a Georgia State Park, Fort Yargo's Yurt Village adheres to the transparent pricing and reservation system of the Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites. While there aren't typically "flash sales" or deep discounts in the retail sense, the park consistently offers value through its well-maintained facilities and comprehensive amenities.

The cost of renting a yurt is generally competitive for the "glamping" experience it provides, offering a more affordable alternative to cabin rentals or hotel stays, while still providing comforts beyond traditional camping. Pricing for yurts typically varies based on demand and season, but a common rate might be around $100-$130 per night, though direct confirmation from the park or their online reservation system is always recommended for the most current figures.

For Georgia residents aged 62 and over, the Georgia State Parks system often provides a 20% senior citizen discount on overnight accommodations, including yurts. Additionally, periodically, Georgia State Parks may run system-wide promotions, such as off-season discounts for specific types of lodging, or bundled deals with activity passes. For instance, in past winter months, there have been promotions like "save 25% on 'glamping' yurts (Sunday through Thursday)." To discover any current special offers or discounts, particularly for longer stays or off-peak periods, the best approach is to visit the official Georgia State Parks website (GaStateParks.org/reservations) or call the park directly. Purchasing an annual park pass can also offer significant savings on the daily parking fee if you plan multiple visits throughout the year.

Starting our experience at the visitor center checking in for our reservation was quick and easy and the staff were very friendly. We stayed in yurt 4 and found it adequately furnished having just what we needed with a nice deck over the water with two deck chairs to sit in and enjoy the view. Out front was a picnic table, a grill and a fire ring that also had a cooking grate that could be used. The ducks visited everyday and was one of the highlights of our trip. The MTB trails were a good ride and the hiking was great as well. We'll definitely be returning soon!
