Zipp RV Park About

For Texans searching for an RV park that promises a quiet, clean, and serene environment, Zipp RV Park at 1100 Reiley Rd in Seguin, Texas, offers a unique proposition. Nestled in a beautiful setting, this park has garnered attention for its peaceful atmosphere, making it a potential haven for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Zipp RV Park appears to cater to a demographic that values tranquility and a well-maintained space. One reviewer specifically highlights it as a "nice quiet and clean" place, also noting it as a "great place for kids to fish." This suggests that for many, it provides a pleasant and relaxing experience, allowing for peaceful enjoyment of the outdoors and simple recreational activities like fishing.

However, it's crucial for prospective residents, especially those with children, to be aware of all facets of public feedback. A notable review from 2020 raises significant concerns about the park's "kid-friendly" policies, detailing an instance where a long-term resident was reportedly asked to leave due to a child riding a bicycle on the property. This particular account, while potentially an isolated incident or reflective of specific rules, underscores the importance of direct communication with park management to fully understand their policies regarding children and activities before committing to a stay.

Despite this isolated negative experience regarding children, the positive mentions of the property's beauty and quietude remain. This indicates that for those whose needs align with a very calm, adult-oriented, or strictly-structured environment, Zipp RV Park could still be a suitable choice for a long-term or short-term stay in the Seguin area.

Location and Accessibility

Zipp RV Park is conveniently located at 1100 Reiley Rd, Seguin, TX 78155, USA. Seguin is a charming city situated in Guadalupe County, Texas, known for its rich history, the oldest continually running hotel in Texas, and its scenic location within the vibrant Texas Hill Country. This places Zipp RV Park in an area that offers a blend of small-town charm and accessibility to larger urban centers.

The park's address on Reiley Road suggests it's situated in a more tranquil, possibly semi-rural part of Seguin, contributing to the "quiet" atmosphere noted by guests. This allows residents to enjoy a peaceful setting away from the immediate noise of major highways, while still maintaining reasonable access to essential services and attractions. Seguin itself provides a variety of amenities, including grocery stores, local restaurants, and healthcare facilities, all within a short driving distance.

For Texans looking to explore the wider region, Zipp RV Park's location in Seguin offers excellent accessibility. It's strategically positioned roughly equidistant from two of Texas's largest and most dynamic cities: San Antonio to the southwest and Austin to the northeast. Both cities are typically within a 45-minute to an hour's drive, providing easy access to major employment centers, world-class dining, shopping, cultural attractions (like the Alamo and River Walk in San Antonio, or Austin's live music scene), and major airports.

Furthermore, Seguin is also close to other popular recreational areas, including the Guadalupe River, which is famous for tubing, kayaking, and fishing. While direct river access from the park isn't explicitly detailed, the general area offers ample opportunities for water-based activities. The proximity to Interstate 10 also ensures straightforward travel for those coming from or heading to other parts of Texas. This balanced location makes Zipp RV Park a practical and appealing option for Texans seeking a peaceful base with convenient access to both natural beauty and urban conveniences.

The property zipp rv park sits on is beautiful however the owner(s) are not kid friendly! I went to visit a friend who lived on the property for 9 months with no issues whatsoever, and on that day he was told he had two weeks to find somewhere else to live due to my 12 y/o daughter riding her bicycle. The river seemed like a nice place to visit and get out of the house since at the time we’d been home for FOUR MONTHS with everything closed due to the quarantine 2020/ Coronavirus pandemic. Horrible, horrible, thoughtless owners. I feel horrible for causing my friend to lose his place of residence, without warning, with out nothing and for nothing. Therefore, if you have kids I DO NOT recommend staying here. At all.

This is a nice RV park. Very quiet, clean, and the people are nice. Mr. Zipp is nice and very helpful in getting us hooked up to the water line. There's a waiting list to get into here but worth it so far.

Some of my favorite memories in the summer are here at Zipp Camp. Such a quiet and peaceful camp, I can see why they stay so booked. 💖
