This RV park is particularly suited for individuals or couples who value a tranquil living space and are responsible, respectful of their neighbors, and expect the same in return. While some reviews suggest being cautious about booking, the consistent positive feedback from long-term residents highlights the park's strengths for those seeking a stable and harmonious RV living experience.
Lakeview Trail RV Park is conveniently situated at 501 Lakeview Trail, McQueeney, TX 78123, USA. This location places it in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, a region renowned for its natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and charming small towns. McQueeney itself is a tranquil community, primarily known for Lake McQueeney, a popular spot for water activities and relaxation.
For Texans, the park’s location offers excellent accessibility to a variety of attractions and major cities. It's close enough to major highways, providing easy travel to larger urban centers, yet far enough to maintain its peaceful, rural charm. New Braunfels, a vibrant city famous for Schlitterbahn Waterpark, historic Gruene, and river tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers, is just a short drive away. This proximity means residents can easily enjoy a wide range of entertainment, dining, and shopping options without being directly in the hustle and bustle.
Furthermore, the park’s McQueeney address places it within comfortable driving distance of both San Antonio to the southwest and Austin to the northeast. This makes it an ideal base for exploring the rich history and cultural attractions of San Antonio, including the Alamo and River Walk, or experiencing Austin's unique live music scene, culinary delights, and outdoor activities. The tranquil setting combined with convenient access to these metropolitan areas makes Lakeview Trail RV Park a strategic choice for Texans looking for a long-term RV home.
While the exact distance to the Guadalupe River or Lake McQueeney from every site isn't explicitly detailed in public information, the "Lakeview" in the name and the general location in McQueeney suggest proximity to water activities that are popular in the area. Guests seeking specific water access are encouraged to inquire directly with the park management for detailed information.
As Lakeview Trail RV Park appears to focus on long-term residency and fostering a stable community, typical short-term promotions found at transient RV resorts may not be a primary focus. Information on specific promotions is not publicly available beyond what is mentioned in reviews, which highlight the park's suitability for long-term stays. For current rates, availability, and any potential special offers for extended commitments, it is highly recommended to contact April and Hoppy directly. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on their pricing structure for long-term residents, which might include specific monthly rates or terms for extended periods.
Given the emphasis on long-term tenants, it is possible they offer more favorable rates for longer commitments, reflecting the stability and community focus they seek. This is a very quiet, clean and respectful small community. April and Hoppy, the owners, are truly good people and will do anything and everything they can to help their tenants. I've been here for over a year and have been very happy with my choice. I've seen a few bad comments on here and feel it's only fair to advise that the people who are here have been living here for a long period of time, pay their rent and don't bring problems into the park. (Interpret as you will!) This is a perfect place for long term people who are responsible and respectful of their neighbors and expect the same in return. I highly recommend!
Jul 23, 2022 · Kenneth JessupTo be fair, we never spent a night here. We tried, but after placing a deposit, the space was given to someone else and we lost our deposit after one day without explanation. The spaces are located in the owners front yard fairly close to each other. If there's a way to the river, I certainly didn't see it. Please personally visit before staying here.
