This place was absolutely horrible. Both pools were closed. Felt like we were just stuck in someone's backyard in a trailer park. Loud party next to us, could hear loud traffic from expressway. The only good thing is we were right next to bathroom. We did have good visit with family members who showed up.

Do not go tenting or even trailer camping it’s basically a trailer park full of permanent owners and all the rent spots are super tiny and slanted badly. Plus it’s really weird feeling cause it feels like your in someone’s front yard on your site you rent

This used to be a great campground... Over 50 years ago. I can't believe the reviews that I read now.

Different kind of camp ground. Sites are pseudo permanent. A lot of old and tired looking campers, trailer park models, and broke down looking RV's are in about 1/3 of the spots here. The remaining are newer, better condition campers. That alone was kinda strange. The "lots" are right on top of each other, no real privacy unless you're in your camper. We "car camped" in a spot that was an open spot (previously owned or rented for a camper) your neighbors are about 20 to 30 feet away from you. Car camping here sucked... only because you have no real privacy, no tree cover, every camp site had lights, radios, or tv's playing whatever. The campers there seem to have formed into "clicks." We weren't treated poorly, just not super welcome. Mainly cause we were car camping. There was a gathering or party every night at spots all around us. Again, there is no real privacy or quiet unless it's early in the morning. The bathrooms are spotless... cleanest campground bathrooms I've ever seen. The Grounds are maintained pretty well. The gate staff and "rangers" were all very friendly, which was nice. Despite the weird mix of broke down/tired looking old trailers and campers, if your looking for a pseudo Permanent campground to park your camper in, and it's only a few miles away from a couple nudist camps/colonies, this may be the place for you. Clean grounds and bathrooms, place had a decent sized pond/small lake. We never made it into the camp store, so I can't comment on that. I'm not sure what other amenities they have here. There looked to be hundreds and I mean HUNDREDS of spots in this park with turns and switch backs a plenty, which makes navigation through the park kinda confusing. Would not reccomend for car camping. If you have a camper van or rv and want a place to stay (each site looked to have electric and water hook ups) Then this place may be for you
