The Alum Creek State Park Group Campsite is situated within Alum Creek State Park, a popular recreation area known for its vast lake and diverse outdoor activities. The exact address is 3229 Lewis Center Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035, USA. This balance of natural escape and practical accessibility is a significant advantage for group organizers.

The group camp is specifically designed to accommodate larger gatherings, providing ample space for multiple tents and group activities. Its proximity to the main Alum Creek Lake also means easy access to a variety of water-based recreation, a major draw for many campers. While the group campsite offers a more rustic experience than the main Alum Creek State Park campground, its dedicated nature ensures privacy and space for your group.

Good Site! Love the location of this, water access is super nice with a few fishing spots. Has water and plenty of room for tents. The restrooms are pit toilets that are in rough condition though. We had to go out and get a few cans of raid to clear out wasps and boy did they smell. The other issue was people just showing up to the site. Even after closing half of the gate, we still had random people showing up to the site because there is no signage indicating it is available by reservation only. We went out on a hike, and got back for lunch to find people setting up 3 tents on the site... I was baffled. If they put a real restroom and a single shower here, this would be the best group camp in Ohio though. For now, I think that title stays with Buck Creek Group Camp.

Great open campground to take groups to. Plenty of room for pitching tents having campfires and other activities. Lots of space for parking. There are bathrooms but no electricity in the group site. The site is very close to the lake so if you have a boat you could pick people up on the shore. Nice and quiet

Large campsite with huge field surrounded by trees, lending a private, secluded feel. There were a couple sets of trees growing close together within the campsite that were perfect for hanging hammocks. At least ten picnic tables. Parking lot and bathroom very close by. The bathroom did not have electricity or flushing toilets (rather smelly). You have to drive to another location in the park to shower.

Nice big space for the group camp site. A lot of it is a small hill so not a lot of options for flat places for your tent. The bathrooms are very rustic and no sinks.
