These features combine to create a versatile and appealing camping destination for a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts in Wisconsin, from families with children to those seeking a quiet, comfortable overnight stop.
As a city-run campground, Antigo Lake RV Campground typically focuses on straightforward, transparent pricing rather than complex promotional offers. However, certain aspects can be seen as beneficial "offers" for local residents and visitors:
- Affordable Nightly Rates: The campground offers competitive nightly rates, with padded RV sites costing $20.00 per night (including water, electric, and sewer) and tent sites starting at $10.00 per night (with electric). Overflow RV sites are also $10.00 per night. This affordability makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious campers.
- Value of Included Amenities: The inclusion of free Wi-Fi, access to clean bathhouse facilities (with coin-operated showers), and a dump station for registered campers provides significant value, reducing additional costs during a stay.
- Extended Stay Options (Implicit): While not explicitly a "promotion," the ability to re-register for additional nights (subject to availability) and the consistent pricing model allows for flexible, longer stays at a predictable cost.
- Off-Season Access: The option for self-registration camping outside the peak season (May 1 – October 1) for the same affordable rates, albeit with limited facilities, can be a draw for intrepid campers looking for quiet getaways.
For the most current information on rates and any potential seasonal specials, it is always best to directly contact the City of Antigo Park and Recreation Department. Any changes or specific deals would be communicated through their official channels.

This beautiful city park has a small town feel, like the town, pop. 8100. There are 13 full hook up sites with pavement pads, 7 electric only tent sites with gravel pads, and 10 picnic sites. Nice facilities. Clean, quiet campground for RV and tent camping. Nice asphalt pads for RV's and lots of good grassy areas for tents. Well marked lots. Baseball parks and playgrounds in the surrounding area and fishing piers on the water nearby. RV lots have full hook up (water, electric, sewage.) Tent lots also have electric.
We stayed 3 nights in August 2019. Antigo Lake RV Campground, Antigo WI, City RV park, fhu site, stayed in site 8 paid $20 per night, found 50 amp & 30amp electric hookups, water & sewer, tight spacing, clean, NW orientation, worried about baseball foul ball hazard, found Verizon LTE hotspot 32 Mbps DL 5 Mbps UL. 0500 awoken by Ravens calling, 0600 neighbor worker diesel truck startup. 4 contractor rigs staying in the CG. Saw Class A with smoldering campfire overnight, stinky, my truck camper fabrics smelled like smoke. I got poor sleep that night. We walked beautiful walking path, saw Americana in the nearby baseball fields. 0900 the nearby Rexnord plant had a fire alarm drill! The plant also had big truck traffic, the loading dock area faces the RV park. Horns, diesel engines, beep beeps and air brakes were heard throughout our visit Overall we found the RV park affordable, clean and conveniently located for a couple of nights stay. We would stay again.
