Customer Reviews
Was a great campground! Nice open clean sites with fire pits. River access from several different spots. One of which has a nice deck to enjoying a relaxing afternoon. We came in Saturday night and stayed until Monday. We had the whole campground to ourselves Sunday-Monday. Clean water access near by as well. Clean pit vault bathrooms for the most part. Very nice rustic feeling. The only thing I'd say, is If the campground was heavily trafficked.. neighbors would be very close by at most sites. Overall, beautiful and my girlfriend and I certainly enjoyed ourselves! Recommend this awesome campground to others as well!
Great spot to camp near North Country Trail. In the few times we have been here I’ve noticed there are a lot of full size campers compared to other campgrounds in this area, it fills up a bit quicker.
Great Campground. Rustic with descent size lots.
I live close by and this campground it is called Baxter Bridge campground. Hand pump well water to drink and vault toilets, no power hook-ups. This camp has lots of mature pines to camp under sites are flat enough for tents and with all the pine needles on some sights makes for soft ground. BTW Old US 131 campground is up stream on old 131 and the river about 5 miles as the crow flies, 15 miles by car.
Great Place! 25 Rustic Sites. 3 different types of sites. From tents, Hammocks, and 5th wheels. This place is built for all of them. Situated right on the Manistee River. Open sites to Secluded ones. Well maintained also.
