The community has garnered accolades, including the Manufactured Housing Institute's Community of the Year award, a testament to its extensive offerings. While individual experiences can vary, the park strives to provide a resort-style environment with numerous opportunities for recreation and socialization. Here are some of the key highlights and features:

Promotions or Special Offers

As Bay Indies is primarily a mobile home park where individuals purchase a manufactured home and then lease the land, traditional "promotions" in the retail sense are not typically offered on lot rents. The pricing for lot rent can vary depending on the specific site, its location within the park (e.g., waterfront), and market conditions. Generally, the value provided comes from the extensive list of amenities and services included with the lot rent, which supports the resort-style 55+ living experience.

However, potential residents looking to purchase a home in Bay Indies might find "quick move-in ready homes" or homes listed for sale that may include certain features or pricing advantages. Any incentives or price reductions on the homes themselves would be offered by the individual home seller or a specific dealership working with the community, rather than a park-wide "promotion" on the lot rent itself. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on current lot rental rates, available homes for sale, or any specific offers that might be available at the time of your inquiry, it is always best to directly contact Bay Indies Mobile Home Park. Their sales or management team can provide detailed information tailored to your specific needs and current availability.

For Floridians, especially those residing in the greater Southwest Florida region or planning their retirement within the state, Bay Indies Mobile Home Park offers a highly suitable and often appealing option for active 55+ living. While it’s crucial to acknowledge all perspectives, the inherent structure and features of Bay Indies align well with what many local retirees seek in their golden years.

Firstly, the financial aspect of mobile home living, particularly in a community like Bay Indies, can be quite attractive to locals looking for an affordable retirement solution in a desirable coastal area. Compared to the often-high cost of traditional housing in Venice, a manufactured home combined with a lot lease can offer a more budget-friendly entry point into this popular locale. This allows Floridians to stay within their home state, close to established family networks and familiar surroundings, while potentially reducing their housing expenditures.

Secondly, the 55+ age restriction cultivates a distinct community environment that is particularly suitable for Floridian retirees. Many local seniors are actively seeking communities where they can engage with peers, participate in a wide array of activities tailored to their interests, and build new social connections. Bay Indies, with its three clubhouses, three pools, and nearly 300 monthly activities, provides an extensive framework for social engagement and active living. This vibrant social scene is a significant draw for Floridians who want to remain active and connected in their retirement without having to leave the state they call home.

Lastly, the prime location in Venice, Florida, is a natural fit for locals. Floridians already appreciate the state's climate, natural beauty, and outdoor lifestyle. Living in Bay Indies means easy access to Venice's beautiful beaches, charming downtown, excellent medical facilities, and abundant recreational opportunities like golf and fishing – all familiar and beloved aspects of Florida living. The ability to embrace a resort-style lifestyle right in their own state, often without the complexities of long-distance relocation, makes Bay Indies a highly convenient and appealing choice for local Floridians transitioning into retirement or simply seeking a change of pace within the Sunshine State.

This place is horrible. Been here for five years every year they keep racing a lot of rent. We went through a couple of hurricane this last one Milton destroyed my mobile home. I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for the past whole entire month and the manager her name is Jessica. She is on vacation. We’re trying to give our titles back and the last thing I heard of that people who have lost their houses we have to pay $8000 to have our mobile home remove out of their a lot. They do not care about you. They’re all about their money be aware do not rent on this place. You’re wasting your money. All they want to is clean this place so they can have condos built and walk away with pretty money

The community is a vibrant community ! Renters Beware: I would caution anyone trying to rent here ! You need to verify with the office the real owners and I caution you not to use Lisa Marcheski as the rental agent! We have been scammed out of a refund of $ 6,000 , which was approved before we left ! We have received nothing and it has been over a month since we returned home ! She refuses to give us the owners address, and refuses our texts saying that she is not responsible as it’s the owner who received the cheque! Yet we have no phone number or address to request a claim from other then the Rental agent Lisa Marcheski ! So please don’t be fooled , rent from the Administration office or any Florida Dreams to be safe !
