If you're looking for an RV park that offers convenience and essential amenities in St. Joseph, Missouri, Beacon RV Park might be on your radar. This article aims to provide a clear and factual overview of Beacon RV Park, helping local Missourians and visitors alike understand what to expect from this established spot.

Located right in St. Joseph, Beacon RV Park is often noted for its central location, making it a potentially practical choice for those passing through or looking to spend some time exploring the city's historical sites and local attractions. While it’s important to manage expectations regarding certain aspects, understanding the park's offerings can help you decide if it aligns with your travel needs.

Many RV enthusiasts prioritize location, and Beacon RV Park prides itself on being "centrally located inside the heart of St. Joseph." This means that you'll likely find various points of interest, restaurants, and shopping options just minutes away. This accessibility can be a significant advantage for travelers who want to minimize driving once they've settled in. The park's address, 822 S Belt Hwy, St Joseph, MO 64507, USA, places it within easy reach of major roads, which can be convenient for arrival and departure. However, some past visitors have noted that the entrance might be a bit tricky due to its location near a busy highway, so approaching with caution and awareness is advisable.

When it comes to accessibility, its urban setting offers a different experience compared to more secluded, nature-oriented campgrounds. If you're seeking a quick stopover with access to city conveniences rather than a sprawling wilderness retreat, Beacon RV Park's location in St. Joseph could be a fit.

It's important to note that while concrete pads and patios are mentioned, some past reviews indicate that the condition of these surfaces, as well as general park maintenance, can vary. The park appears to cater to a mix of short-term and long-term guests, which is a common characteristic of RV parks located in urban areas.

One of the worst RV campgrounds I've ever stayed at. First I was given a site where there was a sewage leak the day before. The ground was very muddy. I was open-minded and attempted to hook up my RV to the water line and sewage. As I proceeded I slipped on the mud which was completely disgusting since I was aware that there was probably feces still in the muddy lot. Therefore I was not able to take a shower that night cuz I was unable to hook up the water I only had electricity. In the morning my rv was covered with ants and flies due to the feces around the lot. I tried to talk to the manager. They said they would have her call me. I was told she'd get back to me and never did. The lady at the front desk was completely rude and acted like she could really give a shit. In fact I stood there for 5 minutes while she played on her phone or writing something and didn't even acknowledge I was standing there. Please stay away from this place it's absolutely disgusting nor do they care about the customers.

If a review has more than 1 Star, question it's authenticity. I rented a space in this run down park. The management is not friendly, they shut off security cameras at will. My neighbors and I had things stolen but when asked management for security footage, management refused. Owner lives in Utah, doesn't have a clue but he has an excuse for everything. My SUV got flooded due to poor drainage system. Asphalt is broken up. Terrible area.

If someone comes on here bashing the RV park it's because "she's" a very bitter person, and well sorry toots the world doesn't revolve around YOU. Have the day you deserve and being bitter is messy FYI My 5 stars stand STILL and always will, along with many others I know who have stayed! We've chosen this park for the last going on 4 years, off and on. Never once displeased.

I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that after setting up I decided to pull up stakes and move on. There weren't even picnic tables available. This is the second worse campground I've been in (the worst in Nashville). I recommend going anywhere else.

Spent 2 days here late April 2021 @ $38.79 per day. This is a very old park with-in the city limits and has many full-time residents. Many residents have been here many years with all the junk outside to prove it. The Wi-Fi is very poor (between 300Kbps to 2.5Mbps), electric & sewer worked as designed. The water is at 60 PSI. No cable provide but I picked up 20 OTA TV stations. Few worthwhile. Big rig do-able but barely. Lots of older trees and grass between sites. Site are back-in and concrete pad is broken and unlevel. Parking on the street which makes it difficult to drive. 1 employee has 2 huge dogs which barked at us every time we walked by. Several shady looking people driving (speeding) and/or walking thru the park. The bathrooms/showers/laundry were clean and new. Laundry was $2.75 to wash and $.50 (30 minutes) to dry. No picnic table or fire ring provided. Because this park is within the city limits, there was a lot city noises (sirens, music from cars, trucks). Verizon worked well. There is nothing here to justify $38 per night.
