Furthermore, a significant highlight of Belle and Beau Acres' location is its proximity to some of Tennessee’s most celebrated natural attractions, including breathtaking waterfalls and extensive hiking trails, which are a major draw for outdoor enthusiasts. The property boasts easy access to a river, and its "super fun" property map ensures guests can navigate the trails leading to these natural wonders. While the roads leading to the property are described as low-traffic, be prepared for some hilly terrain and potentially bumpy or muddy conditions, especially after heavy rain, as this is a natural, primitive setting. Vehicles with low ground clearance may need to park at the entrance.
Belle and Beau Acres focuses on providing a well-managed primitive camping experience, offering thoughtful amenities designed to enhance your connection with nature. Key services include:
Spacious, Private Campsites: The campground offers a variety of tent sites, including drive-in spots and shady hike-in sites positioned along the river. Each site is strategically spaced to provide maximum privacy and a sense of solitude, comfortably accommodating groups with two vehicles.
Custom Fire Pits with Grill Grates: Every rustic, river-rock fire pit comes with a custom heavy-duty grilling grate, perfect for cooking directly over the fire. This eliminates the need to bring your own grill and enhances the campfire cooking experience.
On-Site Firewood & Fire Starters: Locally sourced, seasoned firewood is available for purchase at their convenient Farm Stand. They also offer handmade fire starter kits made from recycled materials, ensuring you can easily get your campfire roaring.
"Comfort Station": This shared facility is a major highlight, offering a private changing room (which can double as a space for your portable toilet) and an outdoor shower stall. While you’ll need to bring your own solar shower setup, the comfort station provides a refreshing experience under the sun or stars, along with towel hooks and a small bench. They also offer an unfiltered rain barrel system for extinguishing fires.
Hiking Sticks & More: The comfort station generously provides hiking sticks for all ages to borrow, along with grill brushes, an outdoor thermometer, and other useful items that campers might forget.
Water Access for Primitive Use: While individual campsites do not have potable water hookups (campers must bring their own drinking water), there is access to the river via short, steep hiking trails for water-based activities.
Pet-Friendly Policy: Belle and Beau Acres warmly welcomes well-behaved dogs to camp with their owners for free! There are no extra charges or special reservation requirements for pets, with sites spaced to be ideal for dogs. Owners are asked to keep pets leashed and to pack out all pet litter.
Fiber Art Studio & Seasonal Produce: Guests can schedule private visits or small group workshops at the host's personal fiber art studio (by special request). Additionally, seasonal organic produce, such as garlic, is available for purchase from the Klein homestead's garden and orchard.
Proximity to Waterfalls & Hiking Trails: As highlighted in customer reviews, Belle and Beau Acres is ideally located near some of Eastern Tennessee's best hiking trails and stunning waterfalls, making it a perfect base for outdoor adventures. The property itself features a trail to the river and access to shallow lazy rivers, great for floating and fishing.
"Organized Primitive Camping": This unique approach combines the raw beauty of primitive camping with thoughtful touches. The hosts have "taken the guesswork out of rustic camping" by providing groomed campsites, custom firepits, and maintained trails, making it accessible even for those new to primitive styles.
Natural Beauty and Serenity: The campground offers 360-degree views of relaxing nature, emphasizing the "natural beauty and serenity of the woods." The abundance of trees, river frontage, and wildlife creates a truly peaceful escape.
Friendly Customer Service & Clear Instructions: Reviewers consistently praise the "friendly customer service" and the "super fun" and "really clear" instructions provided by the hosts, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Privacy Between Sites: The deliberate spacing between campsites ensures "plenty of space between sites," contributing to a safe, quiet, and private camping experience.
Dog-Friendly Environment: With no extra fees for well-behaved dogs and spacious sites, it's an excellent choice for campers who wish to bring their furry companions along.
Access to Natural Water Features: The property offers direct access to the river, with "float holes" to discover and opportunities for searching for creek glass and fossils. There’s even a 27-foot high ledge waterfall on the property, with a large rock shelter behind it, that flows most of the year.
Abundant Wildlife and Birdwatching: The area is rich with wildlife, offering chances to spot deer, turkey, otters, and a wide variety of birds, including eastern sandhill cranes during migration. The phenomenon of fireflies lighting up the fields and forests around May/June is also a magical highlight.
Belle and Beau Acres operates as a private campground with a unique focus on providing a curated primitive camping experience. While specific, ongoing "sales" or widespread discounts are not commonly advertised in the way a large commercial campground might, their value proposition lies in the quality of the experience and the specific amenities they provide for the price.
Unique Glamping Option: The "Tent in the Trees" offers a distinct glamping experience, potentially bundling amenities that would cost more if purchased separately, providing a special offer for a hassle-free setup.
Included Site Amenities: The provision of grill grates on fire pits and basic comfort station access could be seen as value-added services included in the booking rate, rather than separate charges.
Local Farm Stand Offerings: The on-site availability of seasoned firewood and handmade fire starters at reasonable prices adds convenience and value for campers.

Customer Reviews
Huge shoutout to Belle & Beau Acres! Such an awesome campsite, friendly customer service, and a great location near some of Eastern Tennessee’s best hiking trails and waterfalls. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for tent sites away from an RV camp…especially if you love the natural beauty and serenity of the woods.
We were blown away with the work Christine put into Belle and Beau Acres. The property map was super fun, and instructions were really clear. Camping in a place that is kept so well was wonderful, there was plenty space between sites, and it just felt safe. The trail to the river was super cool, and the comfort station was incredible. Would love to stay again.
My cousin and I had a wonderful time camping here! Our tent site was awesome - we stayed right by the river it was so lovely. It’s a close drive to Cummins Falls and very convenient! Belle and Beau is run so well. I’m honestly very impressed with how well organized everything is. Super clean, well set up, prompt responses from host. Planning to stay again soon and show more friends!
I stayed at campsite #2 - it was wonderful! The property is easy to find and very peaceful. Hiking into the site wasn't nearly as bad as hiking OUT! My pups enjoyed the secluded nature and had fun in the river. Host was super easy to communicate with, and the firewood sold on site was perfect! Overall a great location, especially convenient for nearby waterfalls! GREAT STAY!
This place!!!!! I was over the moon with my two night stay on site d! It is a little hike into camp but I would not have changed it for anything! My site was a very private little riverside oasis. My dog enjoyed playing in the water as I read my book in the comfort of my hammock, enjoying all of the soothing sounds around me. There were chairs and a fire pit already set up with a grill grate so dinner was easy to heat up! All of the campsites are pretty spread out so it’s like you have the entire woods to yourself! There are drive in sites as well as hike in (which I prefer, although it is an uphill hike to your car! Not too bad though, I managed all of my things and a full sized cooler by myself). There is a comfort station that is full of thoughtfulness! There was an outdoor shower if needed, a changing room, and even a mirror to get ready in front of. There are are quite a few trails on the property including a waterfall that are on my list for my next visit because I am definitely going to book here again! Highly, highly recommend!
