Services Offered

As an RV park and unique destination, Twin Lakes Catfish Farm Campground offers a blend of typical campground services alongside its distinctive features. While specific details about the number and type of RV sites (e.g., full hookups, 30/50 amp service) are best confirmed directly with the management, general services commonly found at such facilities, in addition to its primary offerings, include:

  • RV Camping Sites: The primary service is providing sites for recreational vehicles, which typically include electrical hookups, water, and often sewer connections. The specifics of the sites (e.g., pull-through, back-in, size) should be verified upon booking.

  • Catfish Fishing: As a working catfish farm, guests have the opportunity to engage in catfish fishing on-site, providing a direct recreational activity. This is a unique selling point mentioned by customers.

  • On-Site Restaurant: The Twin Lakes Catfish Farm Restaurant is a major draw, serving fresh, hot, and delicious seafood and other menu items. This convenient on-site dining option eliminates the need to travel for meals.

  • Pet-Friendly Dining (Outdoor): Reviews indicate that the restaurant offers outdoor seating on the back porch where guests can dine with their dogs, making it a welcoming spot for pet owners.

  • Restrooms and Showers: While not explicitly detailed in reviews for the campground itself, RV parks typically provide access to clean communal restrooms and showers for campers.

  • General Store/Bait Shop (Implied): Given it's a catfish farm, it's highly probable there's a small shop on-site selling bait, fishing supplies, and possibly some basic camping necessities or snacks.

  • Scenic Views and Relaxed Setting: The campground and restaurant area offer pleasant views, contributing to a relaxed and beautiful setting, as noted by customers.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Cookeville and wanted to try this seafood place. We both enjoyed the whole experience! I got fried catfish and butterfly shrimp combo with Mac n cheese, and I thought it was great, though the Mac n cheese tasted processed (I still liked it). Whenever we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely consider going back (and maybe try out cat fishing!)!

Went here after the falls. Wonderful friendly service and great food. We ate on the back porch (with our dog) and enjoyed the view. Catfish was fresh, hot and delicious. Mozzarella sticks were real cheese and real good. BLT was so large and had so much bacon on it my friend could hardly eat it. She said it was wonderful. The grilled frog legs were delicious, tender and juicy. Deserts - don’t skip this. The banana pudding was wonderful. Not too sweet. Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service and a relaxed beautiful setting. The brownie with ice cream was a big hit and the chocolate pie, oh my!

I ate at Twin Lakes for the first time after a hike to Burgess Falls. The area was nice and peaceful, with a nice view overlooking a pond. There’s indoor and outdoor seating on a covered patio. I sat right inside the covered patio. There was plenty of parking for a Saturday afternoon in the summer. The service was nice and professional and food was inexpensive. I had their frog legs, deep fried pickles and catfish meal. The latter is not pictured but came with 2 catfish fillets, choice of bread and two sides. I had the hush puppies, fried okra, and veggies. The frog legs were my first time having them and I enjoyed them. The pickles were a bit too salty. It seemed they deep fried both the frog legs and pickles in the catfish batter which wasn’t my favorite. The catfish was good. The sides were ok. Overall the food was average. I probably wouldn’t go back if in the area.

There isn't anything that I don't love about this place. It is like home away from home. Their food is great, the managers are awesome, the cooks are fantastic, and sitting outside while eating is so relaxing. Pictured are the deviled eggs for Thanksgiving (from them). I added the smoked paprika. 🤤
