The staff are super helpful and nice. Most sites are at least a bit shaded but everyone found a way to connect to their satellites. Wifi is fine, not great. Showers and baths are clean with good water pressure even though they are a bit dated. On site putt putt is designed for little ones but made me feel very accomplished. LOL. Grounds are nice and attended to frequently. Lots to do within driving distance.

After many years of camping up at the Boone KOA, it still is the best, most relaxing and enjoyable place to camp. You won't be disappointed. Simple but has everything you need. Quiet, peaceful, a few donkeys and even a cow or two in the distance. Just a great place.

Had plans to be there the weekend after the Hurricane, for obvious reasons we didn't make it. We were honored with a refund of our deposit with out a request, I was surprised and thankful. Looking forward to getting another reservation on the books when your beautiful area is put back together. Stay Safe and Thanks!
