For Wisconsin RV enthusiasts seeking a blend of tranquility, community, and convenient access to the state's popular attractions, Buck's Crossing RV Sales & Resort in Lyndon Station, WI, presents a truly unique offering. Located at 150 East St, this isn't just an RV park; it's a distinctive, member-owned resort that has cultivated a "near utopian community" for its residents. Since its inception, the vision has been to create a fully functional, luxurious RV resort that offers year-round usage, exceptional value, and a strong sense of belonging.

Buck's Crossing prides itself on its 250 large, wooded sites, providing a serene environment where the only sounds you're likely to hear are the gentle rustling of leaves or the distant passing of a train – a testament to its peaceful setting. What truly sets it apart is the benefit of city water and city sewer hookups at every site, a significant convenience often highlighted by satisfied members. Led by friendly and helpful management, often referred to as "Buck" (Ed Buck), the resort fosters an atmosphere where neighbors connect with nature and with each other. Whether you're looking for an affordable getaway close to the excitement of Wisconsin Dells or a quiet, long-term "home away from home" nestled in the woods, Buck's Crossing RV Sales & Resort promises a superior RV experience in the heart of Wisconsin.

Location and Accessibility

Buck's Crossing RV Sales & Resort is ideally situated at 150 East St, Lyndon Station, WI 53944, USA. This strategic location offers the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and convenient access to some of Wisconsin's most beloved attractions. Lyndon Station itself is a small, friendly town, just a mile from the resort, offering local amenities like bars, grills, and a general store – perfect for those quick supply runs or a casual evening out. The presence of nightly outdoor live music down the road also adds to the local appeal.

One of the most significant advantages of Buck's Crossing's location for Wisconsin locals is its close proximity to Wisconsin Dells, often referred to as "The Waterpark Capital of the World." The Dells is just a short, affordable drive away, approximately 15-20 minutes, allowing guests to enjoy all the excitement and entertainment of the Dells without being immersed in its constant hustle and bustle. This makes it an ideal home base for exploring the area's numerous attractions, from thrilling waterparks to unique shops and dining experiences.

Beyond the Dells, the resort is "within arms reach of many of the most scenic State Parks Wisconsin has to offer." This includes renowned natural wonders such as Devil's Lake State Park, Mirror Lake State Park, and Roche-A-Cri State Park, providing endless opportunities for hiking, biking, climbing, and connecting with Wisconsin's stunning natural landscapes. Its central Wisconsin location also ensures relatively easy access from major cities: approximately an hour's drive north from Madison, and around two hours from Milwaukee or Green Bay. This combination of peaceful surroundings, local conveniences, and proximity to major attractions makes Buck's Crossing RV Sales & Resort an exceptionally accessible and desirable destination for Wisconsin RV owners.

Promotions or Special Offers

Buck's Crossing RV Sales & Resort operates on a unique member-owned model, which differs from traditional nightly or seasonal rental campgrounds. Instead of daily promotions, their primary offer revolves around the significant value of purchasing a long-term membership.

Key "promotions" related to their membership include:

  • Campsite Ownership: Members "own" their campsite for life, eliminating rent and providing a permanent "home away from home."
  • Low Yearly Dues: Instead of high nightly rates, members pay yearly dues starting at $750/year, representing a highly affordable long-term camping solution.
  • No Personal Property or Real Estate Tax: This is a substantial financial benefit, as members avoid additional tax burdens typically associated with property ownership.
  • "Open House Special": As mentioned on their website, they may offer "Open House Special" pricing for those looking to buy their site, suggesting potential discounts or incentives for new memberships. It's advisable to inquire about these directly.
  • Resale Opportunity: The ability to resell your campsite when you no longer need it offers a significant long-term investment value, unlike traditional rentals.

While typical "discount codes" might not be applicable, the entire structure of Buck's Crossing is a promotional offer in itself for those seeking a permanent or seasonal RV spot. To explore current membership pricing, available sites for purchase, or any specific new member incentives, potential visitors should directly contact Buck's Crossing RV Sales & Resort. They often encourage interested parties to visit and experience the community firsthand.

My wife and I recently purchased a membership and pre-owned seasonal home at Buck’s Crossing and we could not be more pleased. Ed has managed to create a near utopian community of neighbors nestled in the woods, where the only noises heard are from the birds, the breeze through the shaded canopy of oak and pine trees, or the occasional train in the distance. If you’re looking for a quiet home away from home, where you can connect with nature and be within arms reach of many of the most scenic State Parks Wisconsin has to offer, this should be your first and last stop. Oh wait, did I mention the town of Lyndon Station one mile away with its numerous bars and grills and general store, or the nightly outdoor live music down the road? The campground also utilizes wonderful city water that you can actually drink and city sewer. Simply, awesome!

I hate to recommend this because then everyone will go there.... Awesome place ...not right for everyone. But it's quiet and laid back. ED runs the place and his experience and watchful eye makes the place worth the price and time spent there. If you're loud party kinda people....you wouldn't like it. ASSUREDLY
