It was empty on my visit in March. Several sites are trailer/RV friendly. Nice creek, and mature trees. The outhouse is very old, and not in the best condition. No garbage pick-up and not sure how often it is managed. Secluded and quiet. I did see more traffic on Camp Run Rd, then I would expect, not sure what the traffic is usually like.
Mar 20, 2025 · James JenkinsBeen going there for years. Seldom is there anyone there. Very quiet. Small stream nearby and a manmade lake that is stocked. No reservation or money needed. Just show up. One of my favorite campgrounds
Feb 15, 2025 · WENDYI camped here this week and had the entire camp to myself. It's remote, and there’s no water (the creek was also dry). Sites are well marked and have nice tent pads, fire pits, and tables. It's free and definitely an option I'd use again if I were in the area.
