Hands down the nicest campground I have ever visited. Very affordable rates and lots of options for all camper and RV sizes. There are so many activities available for children of all ages and adults alike. The grounds are clean and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms and showers are cleaner than even nice hotel bathrooms. Truly a hidden gem.
Aug 13, 2025 · Matthew KnoppWhat a gorgeous campground! We just left and this just might be my favorite! The sites are very well done and private. The wood carving all around are such a treat! The playscapes are like nothing I’ve ever seen at a campground. I wish we had our grandkids with us! We’re definitely going back next year!
Sep 15, 2025 · Dorothy AlbrechtI typically don't write reviews, but I feel like this hidden gem needs to get talked about. From the moment we arrived on this cold, rainy Memorial day weekend, the managers of the campground were incredibly welcoming. Smiles, offering free popcorn, and just very friendly. We found our spot fairly quickly at this smaller campground, everything worked great and no issues with the site itself (we usually prefer a "woodier" site, but we went with friends, and had three spots near the playground for ease of keeping an eye on toddlers. We had toddlers to teens with us, and all loved the playground. Lots of toys, little houses, swings, volleyball, etc for them to play with. When we discovered that the volleyball had been chewed by a dog, the manager had bought a new volleyball for them to play with and really wanted to make sure that they those teens were having a great time. They checked in regularly to make sure we were all set. Very friendly dog campground (really enjoyed meeting our various furry friends!). The bathrooms are IMMACULATE and the campground showers are incredibly clean, have a great water pressure, and have lots of hot water!! But my favorite part was at night. It was overall quiet, but seemed like every teen on this campground got together with the playground as a base and played so many games of camp wide "tag" that we did as kids in the eighties and nineties and there was a not a cell phone in sight. Just genuine good old fashioned fun and I was so happy that neither the campers nor the campground crew had an issue with them using the whole campground as a playground for those games. Thank you for a wonderful, unforgettable Memorial Day camping trip!
May 26, 2025 · Jennifer Kessler (Awesome Ainsley)The staff was incredible here, they even directed us to an area where we could cross a bridge and see some beautiful landscape and also walk in the water. In addition, they made recommendations for dinner… Lobster and made sure we had everything that we needed. The site were clean. The showers are new and incredibly clean and they have a new laundry area. Outstanding to be at a place like this on our six week travel. Thank you to the staff and owner for this gem!❤️
Jun 16, 2025 · Marianne Lutz-CieslewiczIf I could rate 10 stars I certainly would!!! Just stay here and you will quickly see the care and love that goes in to ensure the property is beautiful and clean! Dishwashing stations, dog washing station and various recycling areas available. Spotless new bathing house! A lovely camp store with many items available for purchase. Walk around the landscape and find various memorabilia of grist mills and tractors! Don't get me started on the magnificent wood carvings!!! And the kids play area....seriously, just stay here 😍
