The "heavily treed" nature of the park means that while it feels secluded and natural, it remains within easy reach of urban conveniences in Helena, Hoover, and Pelham, including grocery stores and restaurants. Customer Reviews
Beautiful location. We stay here every year for a few nights. Site is not as level as we’d prefer but workable. Not a fan of the policy of passing on to the customer a small fee they are charged by their software provider despite paying cash for our stay. Passing on “back-office” fees to the customer seems to be the trend in business today but as an old school guy, I’m not a fan. Not singling out Cherokee here just including them in the clan.
Can't speak to the amenities as we just stopped overnight, but the park is heavily treed and the owner was friendly & helpful. The rate was very reasonable; particularly to veterans. The gravelled parking was ample for our 35' mh & 12' trailer. Some of the overhead wires are pretty low so if you're over 13' height you might want to be careful when pulling in.
The people here are very friendly. It is a nice quiet place to stay and has a big private pond. We only stayed for a night but nice short stay. Wouldn't say it is a place for familys to get out and have fun since it is limited. But for short stop family or long term adult its great.
Cozy, quite campground with a nice big pond to enjoy, just needs some WiFi and a swimming pool and this would get 5 stars
I'd give the owners 5 stars. Sites a little close, easy in and out. We were just there one night while traveling. Quiet
