We truly enjoyed out stay at this campground. $35 a night for full hook ups in a beautiful location is not bad! We had plenty of space too! The tent spots on the water looked very cool and the spots further up the hill seemed to be a little more private. There were nice picnic areas on the lake as well. Lloyd and Shelly do an excellent job keeping everything runny smoothly and the bathhouses clean. I loved listening to the birds and watching the fog rolling on the lake while walking the dog in the early mornings. Great stay at a great price!

This was our first camping trip at this campground the place is beautiful and very peaceful. The fishing on the river side was pretty good if you like stripe fishing or catfishing. We didn’t have any luck on the lake side except bluegill fishing. The staff were very friendly and helpful if we had any questions. We will definitely be back.

Campground was very clean. They were accomodating in that they switched our campsite due to tight trees for backing in. Camp hosts very friendly. Our site was waterfront and was beautiful. Gravel and some challenges for leveling but not bad. The location was easy to get to. Close to road, some traffic noise. Walk and bike paths were great! We were off season so we couldn't enjoy all the lake fun but we imagine it gets VERY busy in summer! Nice stay.

Communication from office was great issues with a tree and allowed us for plan B. But original site was obtained😃. The site hosts also accommodated life jackets to my grandsons after there's were left at home, so they could take a little boat ride. So much happiness that they had generated from there effort. Thank from all of us!!!!!!

Do not park on the grass!! I gave 2 stars for the nice big sites and all the beautiful walking areas. I cannot give 5 stars, due to the fact, we were hounded by the camp hosts numerous times on Saturday, because of our parking. The first time was after my husband and sil brought the fishing boat back to the site and parked in the grass. (If we knew we couldn’t park in the grass we wouldn’t have.) The lady that came up to us was rude and looked at us like we were idiots. She said “you can’t park there!” We apologized and moved. My sil didn’t want to leave his boat down at the ramp because he didn’t want to take a chance on getting things stolen. My daughter had came later and brought our 8 month old grandson. We had to rearrange the vehicles and move ours elsewhere. My daughter had parked one wheel in the grass and somebody else came, which was a little nicer and said “you can’t park there” so we moved it to the front of the site kinda in the road. Well… here comes a man, he did mention that he was a camp host, and asked if we could fix the vehicles to basically get the vehicle out of the road. Mind you, my kids were here only to enjoy the day, not to stay the evening.. By this time we were highly aggravated. My kids were leaving within an hour or two and they had all the grandson’s things to pack up. I’m a seasoned camper, but never camped here. I usually enjoy setting up first day and reading the fliers as to the rules and what they have to offer at the campground. Unfortunately , this trip, I was so busy I didn’t read the rules n regulations. We came here because my daughter’s family lives close.. She also uses the walking area several times each week. Yes, we were at fault bc we didn’t read the R&R but the first lady that came to our site could have had a better attitude and just explained. She could have said… “Hello… my name is such a such an I’m the ????for the campground. I’m sure you’re prob not aware of the R&R of the campground but we do not allow parking on the grass.” Simple as that. But instead, we get bombarded by 3 ppl, we don’t even know, telling us , “u can’t park there or can you fix your parking”? The guy that came last said “you are regulars here arent you?” (If we were regulars we would have definitely knew the rules) Uh no, n we want ever be back. These 3 ppl that came to us were sitting with the folks next to our site. We felt like we were being harassed and talked about for something we didn’t know. We were ready to pack up n leave. I’ve worked with the public my entire life.. they could have simply smiled, been polite, and told us who they were and “why” we couldn’t park there. I know it’s long but if you’ve read this far please know. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS! And read the rules n regulations so you don’t have to deal with these ppl at all. And first n foremost.. put a smile on your face when greeting everyone and be polite.. It’ll make your day a whole lot brighter..
