This location offers significant accessibility for residents across Western Pennsylvania, including the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area, as well as those traveling along major interstate corridors.

The address on "Clayton Court Rd" suggests a tucked-away, potentially residential or semi-rural setting, contributing to the "quiet and secluded" atmosphere noted by reviewers. This kind of location is often preferred by RVers who wish to avoid the noise and traffic of busier areas, providing a genuine sense of peace and privacy. Despite its secluded feel, Washington, PA, is well-connected to major highways. Interstate 70 and Interstate 79 both intersect near Washington, making the RV park relatively easy to reach from various directions. This excellent highway access is a considerable advantage for both transient travelers and those looking for a longer-term stay in the region.

While the exact approach to Clayton Court Road might involve smaller local roads, the overall accessibility from major routes ensures a convenient journey. Campers should always use GPS for precise navigation to the address. The benefit of this specific location is its blend of quiet retreat with the practical convenience of being near a decent-sized city like Washington, which offers essential services, shopping, and dining options. Services Offered

Based on the provided customer reviews, which describe Clayton's RV Park as functioning more like a "mobile home park that you could park your RV at" and mention "no amenities," we can infer the following regarding its services:

  • RV Parking: The primary service offered is dedicated spaces for RVs. While specific details on hookups (electric, water, sewer) are not explicitly mentioned, it is a basic expectation for any RV parking facility. Campers should confirm these directly with the owner.
  • Long-Term Stays: The mention of a stay for "1 month" suggests that the park accommodates longer-term RV parking, making it suitable for individuals working in the area or needing extended temporary housing.
  • Quiet Environment: The park provides a truly quiet atmosphere, emphasizing peace and solitude for its occupants.
  • Secluded Setting: Its location offers a secluded environment, contributing to its quiet nature.

What is explicitly noted is the lack of certain amenities typically found in a full-service RV park. Therefore, campers should not expect:

  • Recreational Facilities: There are no mentions of common RV park amenities like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, clubhouses, swimming pools, or playgrounds. Campers should be prepared to be self-contained in their RVs.
  • Campground Atmosphere: While it accommodates RVs, it's not a traditional "campground-like atmosphere" with associated communal spaces or activities.

It is crucial for potential visitors to contact the owner directly to confirm what hookups are available (e.g., 30-amp, 50-amp electricity, water, sewer) and any other specific services that might be relevant to their stay.

Features / Highlights
  • Quiet and Secluded Environment: This is arguably the biggest highlight. Reviewers consistently praise the park for its "simple, quiet" nature and being "very beautiful, quite and secluded." This makes it an ideal spot for those genuinely seeking peace and solitude.
  • Friendly and Wonderful Owner: A key feature is the positive interaction with the person who runs the park, described as "nice" and a "wonderful person." A welcoming and helpful owner can significantly enhance a visitor's experience, even in a no-frills setting.
  • Not a Traditional RV Park (Unique Appeal): For specific campers, the fact that it's "not really an RV Park" but rather a "mobile home park that you could park your RV at" is a highlight. This means it offers a different kind of experience – more akin to a quiet, residential setting than a transient tourist spot.
  • Low Occupancy (Potentially): One reviewer mentioned being "the only RV there, which was lovely." While not guaranteed, this suggests that the park might often have low RV occupancy, allowing for greater privacy and quiet.
  • Ideal for Long-Term Stays: The review mentioning a one-month stay highlights its suitability for those needing longer-term parking without the constant influx of new campers.
  • No Amenities (Highlight for some): For those who are fully self-contained in their RVs and prefer to avoid the extra costs or distractions of amenities they don't need, the lack of them can be a positive feature, indicating a focus on simple, reliable parking.

3 stars BUT this is not a bad review. I stayed 1 month & it is truly not bad, it's just not a 5 star type of place & I am ok with that. This is not really an RV Park, this is a mobile home park that you could park your RV at. The lady who runs it is nice. We were the only RV there, which was lovely. If you want simple, quiet, & are ok with no amenities.

I have read the reviews here and I gotta say that the only thing I see is a woman who is trying to keep what she has nice. We have been here almost two weeks and we love it. Its quiet and beautiful. Diane has done alot of work to the place to make it better and more stable for larger campers. She stops by once in awhile to see if we need anything and if everything is going ok. We didn't know we would need a 50 amp plug in extension and she happily loaned us one till we could order one of our own. She does ask that you clean up after yourself and any pets you may have as any park owner would. She has had people leave here and leave trash all over and let their animals make a complete mess. And as far as helping people out they she has burned too many times to let people stay until they get paid. Too many have pulled out and not paid her a dime. So I see the shady ones who leave the bad reviews. We have enjoyed it here immensely. Diane had been nothing but hospitable and kind. She is strict with her rules but definitely has a reason to be. I give this park 5 stars and would give more if I could. Its absolutley beautiful here and definitely worth the drive to our work site. I will say that if you end up leaving before the month is through there is no refunds. This is an edit so I am editing my review for 3 stars instead of 5.

Great park. Big yards. Quiet. I saw the sour puss lady that gave a one star review and let me tell you I'm glad they left. They had a viscous dog that attacked everything and everyone the day they got here. The owners politely asked them to keep the little monster on a leash. As for phone service anyone who spends any real time pipelining here knows all service is spotty. I'm surprised they got any refund. Most parks will not refund any money on monthly sites. I guess ya better know what you're getting into before you commit? My stay here is and has been great. Owners are nice. Site is peaceful. Internet company offers month to month service. Honestly I'm glad those people with the mean dog left. It's just too bad they had to badmouth a park who did them a solid and refunded any amount. Spots in this area are hard to get. This one is the best I've had.

The park itself is nice, except for the driveway in and out. The owner keeps it rough to keep traffic slow. It will beat up your truck and bounce your camper at 5mph. The owner is less than friendly. Your rent is a little high, and there is no such thing as a refund. If you pay today and have to leave three days from now, you get nothing back.
