May 03, 2025 · nick petersonWe rented a resort-owned short-term RV spot to visit friends and enjoy the local Cakato festival in August. It is a beautiful property with so many things to enjoy; the lake, swimming pool, darts, Pickleball, mini golf, goats, and much more. The host and seasonal owners are super friendly. It’s a wonderful family friendly place to visit about one hour west of the cities.
Sep 02, 2024 · Ruth JohnsonNice place next to a lake, nice swimming pool, clean toilet/ shower house, charming store, and friendly people. There are nice-looking camp sites, but unfortunately, we weren't able to be placed at one of those. We had a place on gravel, with full-time residents all around. And the mosquitoes were bad. I suppose mosquitoes are to be expected, but we have been at other campgrounds with full-time residents, and they must spray for mosquitoes.
Jun 11, 2024 · Chris MyersWe stayed at the rv park because of its location to the bike trails. There is a beautiful 5 mile paved trail that runs from Cokato to dassel. The Luce line from Silver Lake to Winsted, Silver lake to Hutchinson, and Watertown to this nice cafe in Lyndale. We biked 60 miles in 6 days. Rachel and her husband were so nice and just volunteered their time to help us get parked, situated, and knowledge of where everything was. There are some beautiful park models in this rv lot with adorable landscaping, and a few not looking for a horticultural award ! That's everywhere, they come to relax. The trails for biking are full of birds, wildflowers, and so beautiful as they meander through farm land along lakes and streams. The store has the basics, ice, frozen pizza, and ice cream. The west side that is lake side is steep hills with the west side being flat with a nice pool and mini golf. The price is right, it's quiet except for the beautiful song birds ( why we camp ? bikes, birds, and drives to see birds ) . We saw alot of orioles ! They sound heavenly.
Jun 04, 2024 · Cheryl JohnsonApplied for a weekend getaway to Cokato resort, even after reading reviews. The reviews weren't wrong. I never even heard back from them. I can merely assume that since I'm not a seasonal camper, they dont want you there. And thats perfectly okay! Minnesota has lots of options. We'll find a seasonal site elsewhere. If youre not a seasonal camper, don't bother, they probably won't even reply back. (I wasn't even gonna leave a review, but since they couldn't respond back, here it is.)
