Creekside Estates Mobile Home Park, located at 204 Chinook Rd in Bessemer City, NC, presents a living option for locals in the North Carolina region who are specifically seeking a mobile home community in a more rural setting. Its location in the country can offer a quieter environment, appealing to those who prefer a less urbanized lifestyle away from the immediate hustle and bustle. The existence of individual yards for homes is also a potential benefit, offering a degree of personal outdoor space that might be appealing compared to apartment living.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents to approach Creekside Estates with a comprehensive understanding of publicly available feedback. While the park might initially appear as an affordable housing solution, past resident experiences highlight significant concerns regarding maintenance, utility costs, and community rules. This includes direct and detailed inquiries about all fees, a thorough understanding of maintenance protocols and response times, clarification of all community rules (especially those pertaining to outdoor activities and quiet hours), and careful review of any contractual agreements. While the appeal of a mobile home park in a country setting can be strong, ensuring that the living conditions, management practices, and overall financial commitment align with one's expectations and needs is essential for a suitable and positive residential experience.
Customer Reviews
Maintenance men are garbage nothing ever gets fixed problems with black mold had to pay exterminator to get rid of roaches. Duct work leaks so high power bill. Please just drive past this place is horrible can't even sit outside after 9pm. It looks affordable but after its said and done it's not save yourself the headache. EDIT NOT A 'NEW COMPANY' IF THE SAME OWNERS.
There were both positives and negatives. Creekside is pretty far out in the country. Grounds appeared to be kept rather clean and neat. Not bad yard size for a trailer park. Those were the pluses. I feel the negatives far outweigh the positives. The office isn't clearly marked and I inadvertently knocked on a private resident's door. Office staff was rude. Maintenance staff was rude. There was no designated parking, yet someone yelled at us for parking in the wrong place. Before you are even approved for the park you are forced to pay your eventual EVICTION AND COURT FEES?! I understand quiet hours and curfews but you are NOT ALLOWED OUTSIDE YOUR HOME FOR ANY REASON AFTER 9PM?! Heck, when we were young 'uns playing outside we stayed til the streetlights came on; which could be 9:30 in the summer! No COOKOUTS ON A SUMMMER EVENING WITH FAMILY, FOLLOWED BY ROASTED MARSHMALLOWS W THE KIDS! Wouldn't want to get grandma evicted! (Even though she already paid her eviction fee!)
Moved out 3 months ago they still owe me my deposit money even though it was move in ready. Don’t rent from them 3rd day I was there I had boxes of stuff to unpack and they said if the trailer was not cleaned I would be kicked out. How the hell im I supposed to have everything away in 3 days while I’m also working.
They are very nasty people , they will cuss you out for speaking your mind and they do drugs , Paula has Split personalities she is Paula one day and Betty the next day .. They don't pay their workers right , they over charge people for rent , j was paying $1,040 for nothing . They didn't want to fix anything..
This place is a JOKE... They wanted me to pay the last person rent along with mine. They have bed bugs and won't do anything about it. They refused my wife meds. They told the mail man not to put packages in the mailbox but to bring them to the office. My wife needs her meds to live. Then they said the mail didn't bring them. PLEASE FONT RENT FROM THEM.... I didn't want to give them one star because they don't deserve it. They are rude and very nasty. Mr. Forster is very nasty and talks to people they are trash.
